Doctor Who is relevant to everything.
Canary fans, to tell you the truth, I was too a little disoriented about she being the "less badass" character here. But, as explained in this issue, she is in self repressed mode. I think she has a development because of this and she is going to shine pronto, no doubt.
I don't understand the complains about Dinah's portrayal here. She stated that she did'nt want to use her canary cry because it's so powerful it could also kill the rest of the team and she even said that she can remember the tactical angles of any place where she has fought before, that's pretty damn impressive.
"The Tardis, when working properly, is capable of many amazing things. Not unlike myself."
I was worried about Foreman taking over the art, but his art is good enough to keep BoP as my favorite ongoing DC series.
I'm getting the impressing that Black Canary's sonic whammy has been toned down quite a bit, which is disappointing if true. So far everything (including the opening introduction box) suggests that her scream is powerful enough to shatter someone's skull... at best. The old Canary could pulverize a tank if she wanted to.
Current favorites: Claymore, Birds of Prey, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Excel Saga, Puella Magi Kazumi Magica
Not all who wander are lost....
I felt the BoP were severely under powered here, they should have been able to defeat 10 talons.
