Default Anyone else collect statues around here??

I have a small collection of statues, some of comic book characters, video game characters, sci fi characters, designer original figures, a lot of cool stuff. I love what they all do to the look of my room.

Anyone else on here who blows ridiculous money on statues like I do? I'd love to hear about or see some other people's collections. I'm also interested if anyone else is collecting some of the non-comic book ones that I've gotten into...

Right now all i have is
Clone Wars Yoda Maquette(603 of 7500)
    Bowen Designs Bullseye(565 of 1200)
Enterbay Director's Edition Game of Death Bruce Lee with movie set and paper/wood wall background
    Kotobukiya Ryu Hayabusa
    Revoltech Wall-E(Amazingly articulable)
Official Nuklear Power Atomic Robo Maquette(250 made)
O-No Sashimi Grey by Andrew Bell(150 made)
Squadt NOZZEL s004(limited but unsure how many)
    Kidrobot Futurama Nibbler

Just missed my chance to get this guy in my collection cause the designer toys sell out fast:

But this is still on my radar:

I just have a thing for toys I guess.. I mean now I collect big boy toys that can't really be played with, but they're still toys. I realize that there was a point in my life where I abandoned all things that I considered myself too mature for, and then I grew up and realized it'd be so stupid to miss out on something fun based on some commonly accepted notion of what i'm supposed to do.

It was my most difficult heist.

The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!

Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!

In other words, what StoneGold said.

I had around 42-45 Bowen mini-busts, a few other mini-busts from other companies (Witchblade, an over-sized one for Adam Warlock mounted on a soul gem that I really miss, can't remember the others) and had 6 statues of the kind you're describing. Sadly the building my apartment was in burned to the ground, taking my statue collection and comic collection (around 6k+) with it. I still buy comics, but statues are a thing of the past for me sadly. Probably for the best.

Well I'm glad to hear you only suffered material losses, though I'm sure it was rough financially and emotionally too.

I collect when I can afford to. I have some Bowen busts/full size statues, 1 Sideshow statue, 2 Booty Babes, some DC statues/busts, a couple video game/anime pieces from the earliest days of my collecting. I don't do PVC/resin any more as I have lost two or three statues to tipping over.

I don't like Sideshow much and I'm not a Star Wars fan, but I'd love to get my hands on their Darth Talon statue.

I've got a few but am selective. I get PVCs as well. Like one good one of a character I like. Although that said I have more Batman ones than that - the two Dark Knight Statues for starters. I won't pay some of the ridiculous prices they sometimes go for though...

Anyone know of good places to get them? I actually find some bargains in some of the Japanese online stores I use. I picked up that Kotobukiya Hulk movie statue for about $65 last week, new sealed. Shipping was about the same though, but still cheap. I'd really like that Bowen Black Widow statue (the 2010 release), but haven't seen it for a reasonable price. The earlier bowen BW had a not so good sculpt and sells cheap though...

A couple years back when the economy really tanked I got a couple great deals on Bowen pieces. Now there is no reasonable price for Bowen's, unless they are the one's nobody wants.

I've only seen photos of GG products, never had one in hand to assess it but visually they do some good work.

I use to. I have 2 12" Bowen statues/a Koyo Batman vinyl statue, few mini statues and a few mini busts. I haven't bought any in a few years. I want to sell like 2 or 3 of them, basically less is more.

I have collected for years. Started off with AniMa and video game characters, then marvel too. Haven't had the chance to get any DC ones I like though.
Btw awesome x-23 bust trallis, never saw that model before! Oo
