Default Why do people think DCNU superman is weaker than pre flashpoint Superman

Is it judging from Action comics or there's an article about it somewhere because the DCNU Superman hasn't actually shown any sign of being weaker than the post crisis version *except from drawing out blood against batman*. I'm the wrong person to judge because I didn't pick up a lot of post flashpoint comics but he took on Helspont alone...even Majestic didn't do that in the post flashpoint era #justsaying. Really, I want to know why people think he is weaker now.

Action Superman, when he was younger, is considerably weaker because he hadn't fully developed his powers yet. That continued to happen over the course of the next 5 years (the time Superman was set in).

He certainly takes a lot longer to grow into his powers but he doesn't seem to be noticably stronger or weaker than Pre-Flashpoint in the present day.

I think there's confusion here . . . the title of this thread is
Why do people think DCNU Superman is weaker than post flashpoint Superman
but DCnU Superman is the post-Flashpoint Superman!

The last issue of Flashpint (number 5) came out the same week as Justice League 1 (the first issue to feature the DCnU), and both of those were in August 2011.

In AC, Superman is considerably weaker than post-Crisis Superman because his powers developed at a slower rate, just like early GA Superman and Pre-COIE E-2 Superman. But according to Lex Luthor, Superman was becoming more powerful since he first appeared in Metropolis. Now, Grant Morrison said in an interview that the DCnU Superman was like the ASS Superman, in attitude and power. If that's true, then current Superman is massively powerful. But then again, I don't know if that's true.

I meant to say PRE-flashpoint...sorry. I didn't re-read what I typed before posting it. I just corrected it though. Thanks for pointing that out
