While sitting in the secret avengers satellite station alone,
He says to himself "we know of you get low blood sugar you become a pain in the ass, so you'll have all the chocolate bars you could want while you sit."

He than continues "also helps deal with your withdrawal craving for that symbiote that you've convinced everyone you don't really need"

So does this imply Flash is a diabetic?

I think low blood pressure would affect anyone. I think you may be confusing it with low blood sugar, which is linked to diabetes.

It is already too late, he is permanently bonded to it, after two instances of prolonged exposure early in the run during the Savage Land where he was getting hunted by Kraven and during the Las Vegas/Circle of Four arc. No one knows however how much of a hold it has on him since he is essentially addicted to it.

To answer your question: I vote nay BUT I love the idea; and would happily see a few more Marvel heroes deal with "standard" illnesses, like diabetes.

If he did, wouldn't the suit cure it? It enhances people physically, and is intelligent. If it can make legs and webs, I don't see why it couldn't regulate insulin levels.

I thought it was because they suspected he was going through withdrawal from the symbiote. I think it was just meant to be something to curb the addiction (like how people who quit smoking sometimes eat to fill the void).

Low blood sugar can happen to non-diabetics too. So no, Flash isn't necessarily a diabetic.
