    Most black heroes look distinct. A lot of the characters in this thread and the other one have clearly been created with jean's iconic look.

    You guys have taken to making fun of the issue, but there's always a bit of truth in a caricature.
    Sorry Brevoort, Alonso and Lowe, but Jean Grey is a classic character. She'll outlive you regardless. :)

    I'm glad someone mentioned Danny Rand. He is a special case. A character who at first wasn't a derivative but is now becoming one. I think Marvel is hoping Jean's status and iconic image help Iron Fist sell and become relevant.
