Who do you want to take over Iron Man when Fraction leaves?

No offense, I see potential but I'd think they would go for a bigger name then Bunn.

I'd like to see Yost take the helm. His previous X-book work, along with Scarlet Spider and his work on Marvel animation makes me think he has more then enough talent to take on the task and bring about a new interesting direction for Tony Stark and his supporting cast.

But I also think both Ellis returning and Brubaker taking a shot would be very good for the book as well. Brubaker could use something different then being locked to the Captain America books aside from his own creator owned stuff.

My first pick is Hickman. If he takes over Avengers too, we could have great crossovers. Like he did with Ultimates and Hawkeye a year before.

I don't want Bunn. I don't like him enough and I don't understand why Marvel gives him so many titles that I like. First Cap and. I liked that title because not only it was written by Brubaker, the ultimate Cap writer, but also because Bru was the co-writer and we would be introduced to new writers. Then Wolverine. Aaron's run was exceptional with some simply good issues. And now, he will handle Venom! Remender was (and is) the best candidate for this character.

You can't really count on Ellis for anything more than an arc anymore. I wouldn't mind him coming in to do a 6 issue run, but picking "Ellis" is not picking an ongoing writer. And given his stated tact of not adding anything to universes he doesn't create, I think it limits his potential on any individual ongoing anyway. You can stand to just run through and slightly reinvent some mainstays if you've got a huge tapestry like the Justice League or the X Men or the Avengers, but I think a solo title should be inventing and creating as much as it is reusing.

Depending on the style you wanted to go with...

John Hickman would be my number one choice. He obviously loves protagonists like Stark, and sci fi both small and 'next gen'.

Nick Spencer I know absolutely failed on Iron Man 2.0, but I think if he's on top of his game he's capable of some great stuff in that same vein of 'bleeding edge tech', check out his Existence 2.0/3.0, his Thunder Agents, and his Infinite Vacation to take a look.

I think Jeff Parker would do some fun, old school superheroics. Maybe that is what the title needs?

I think Jason Aaron would turn in some pretty awesome stuff as well, especially with a character as smarmy and arrogant as Tony Stark. I think we'd see more of that under Aaron than any of the other guys I've mentioned.

Hickman, Casey, Waid, Roger Stern, Gillen or Asmus would be my picks.

As for artists, anyone but Larocca. I'd love to see Coipel take over this title. Look at what he did for Thor.
