Remember the Talon trainer from Batman #1 and #2?
So we've finally have Lincoln March come in, just to die and conveniently give us the identities (or possibly a red herring) of the Court. But what about the boxing trainer who was treated like a dartboard and warned that Bruce Wayne was a target? I know the story started with a murder and is currently hitting its crescendo with a massacre, but what about the trainer? Am I being irrationally afraid that his motivations for turning against the Court won't be explained? Or was it some damningly obvious detail that was noted previously and I had just missed it? Is anyone expecting a definitive answer, or do you think it'll just be left up in the air?

They were going to murder him. Why wouldn't he turn on them?

Tis what I thought at first, but given the Court's vast resources (like a zombie factory of Talons), I really have a hard time believing that a lowly trainer would have realized they were intending to kill him and have the time to try and warn Grayson, and then leave a message on his wall for Bruce.

They only had one active Talon until recently. And he's hardly "lowly", he was training some of the more recent Talons apparently.
