"Future's never looked brighter. Who are you?" he asked, slightly distracted as he watched a girl walk off in a fit of childish pique.

Bodyguard? Not enough that I'm pulled into some boot camp, but I'm gonna be stuck around some Richie Rich spoiled society types too?

At the thought, he smiled slightly.

Well, it'll be fun watching them fall short, at least.

"It's real embarrassing but dude was one of the few people who I will ADMIT, use to be able to whoop my a$$ on a regular basis and believe me there aren't that many who can do that and I use to help him keep the place clean, get his materials for the school he teaches at etc and cook. Basically just help him stay sane or something you know? Nothing dirty just help him not go nuts. I ran away once for like a week and came back to him looking like a hobo in a business suit"

King looks at the girl up and down, then shakes her hand. He's got a surprisingly firm grip for someone with a slim build. He thinks to himself she's REAL formal with the greeting so he's thinking she's from an upper level sector, 3 to 1 maybe. "Hey, name is King, that's what I go by. Nice to meet you too"

No, Sloane didn't. He could only try. His parents had... Well, he thought they loved him. He wouldn't know for sure, but nothing they did before they died suggested otherwise.

But Eisen, that poor kid... Even if she was from Sector 1, she was somebody who didn't know much about love. And it was made worse by the fact she had a family that should be there for her.
