"She's just not very good at expressing herself," Eisen explained. "She's more of a person of action."
So many interesting people!
"This one seems extra rowdy."
I'm going to talk to her.
Eisen approach the new girl. "Hello! My name is Eisen Marionette Coppelia Schneider. A pleasure to meet you!"
"This doesn't look easy. But I bet it is!"

It’s the beginning of a new term at Arcadia Academy, and many of the new students are beginning to arrive. Teenagers and young adults from every sector, every walk of life were accepted. And possibly one of the most important of these young hopefuls is on her way.
A jet black Xenon V, one of the classiest and most expensive hovercars in the city, rides leisurely down the street en route to Arcadia. Its driver, a middle aged blonde man in simply known as Hamilton, takes a peek at his rearview to glance at his passengers. The better term would be employers, because in the back seat, sipping on a glass of Eden’s finest wine is one of Eden’s richest, most powerful businessmen, Josef Lindström. As the chairman and CEO of Lindcorp, Josef has amassed a fortune that almost 90% of other Edenians can’t even contemplate dreaming of.
Running his hand through his wavy brown hair, he turns around in the seat and knows on the tinted window separating the driver from the passengers. “Speed it up, Hamilton. We don’t want Maxana to be late, right?” He doesn’t respond verbally, but speeds up promptly enough. Turning back around, Josef smiles warmly at the two women sitting across from him. One was too busy staring out the window to notice, but the other smiles nervously.
“Father?” she says quietly.
“Yes, sweetheart?” he says kindly, already knowing where she about to go with this.
“Do I have to go? I promise not to ever use my...powers again,” she pleads.
He sighs through his nose. They had been over this seemingly every day since she graduated his school. Still, he patiently but firmly says, “Yes, you do.” When her shoulders slump dramatically, he continues, “Listen, if it were up to me, you would be at home right now. But it’s out of my hands.” He offers her another warm smile.
She sighs, disappointed and already anxious to graduate. She tries her best to push down the empty feeling rising in her chest, but ultimately fails. She looks up and puts on her best fake smile, but it falters noticeably.
“If it makes you feel any better,” he offers, “I may be able to come visit you at one point soon. You would like that, right?”
She instantly perks up and smiles brightly. “Oh yes, Father! Very much so!”
Josef caught it, but ignores it for now. He smile brightens and he leans forward, placing his glass in a cupholder. “Ramilia,” he says to the pink haired, bespectacled woman sitting next to her.
She turns to face him, the glare from the sun reflecting brightly off of her lenses. “Yes, I know, Mr. Lindström. Keep all the boys away from her.”
As he nods approvingly, Maxana’s smile vanishes quickly. “Father!” she objects, but sees he isn’t hearing any arguments.
“There won’t be a discussion on this, Maxana. I don’t want these ‘gentemen’, and I use that term as loosely as possible, to get any ideas about dating you or any nonsense like that. The last time I let you date a boy, it didn’t end well, so never again. At least until your fifty,” he chuckles. She hits him with the meanest glare she can muster, but by this time in her life, he was already immune, so all he does his smile (yes, he does that a lot. But, then, wouldn’t you if you were one of the richest men in the world?)
“Should I get physical with anyone who disagrees?” Ramilia asks, almost a bit too eagerly.
Josef thinks this over until the car stops, having reached their destination. He waits until Hamilton opens the door and escorts Maxana out before replying. “Although I’m almost positive that would be against school rules…ah, to hell with them, yes. If anyone, anyone causes her any trouble of any sort, you know what to do.”
She smirks slightly and slides out of the car.
As Maxana, or the driver that is, was getting her things out of trunk, Ramilia walks up to her and gives her a slight nudge. “Are you ready? This is an important moment in your life.”
She looks up at her, and gives her a dubious glare. “I am going to be spending the forseeable future with a group of strangers. I have no friends, no influence and no idea what is about to happen. No, I am not ready. I just want to go home.” Tears begin to well up in the corners of her eyes, only for Ramilia to cautiously wipe them away.
“You have me. I can be your only friend during your time here. That would be acceptable, right?”
“No, it is not. I am Maxana Lindström. I do not have “one friend”. Now let’s go; I am already late, I think.”
Where the hell are they? Iriesia thought, not seeing D, little Zen, or Noi anywhere.

Maxana nearly passes out by the time she and Ramilia finally reach the top of the steps. "This...is...unacceptable...," she states between huffs of air. "Why...is...there...elevator?" She stands and dusts off her expensive red blouse and custom tailored black skirt and stands off by herself. She's uncharacteristically nervous, and she glances demurely at the others that were already assembled and conversing. She glances timid at Ramilia, who nudges her towards the group.
"Maybe I'll vote for you if you promote martial arts," Kyra replied.
Kyra bowed, bouncing a little on the balls of her feet as energy began to trickle back into her body.
"Kyra Ogawa, the pleasure is mine."
She straightened, her eyes widening as she took a closer look at the girl.
Kawaiiiii!!! And she's so fair skinned and blonde and light like an angel. And the sad doll makes her even more kawaiiiiii!
She cleared her throat, buying time to translate that into something that wouldn't freak the girl out.
"That look really works for you."

Kyra blinked. Twice.
Did she just...yes. Yes she did. Huh.
"Thank you. I uh, don't hear that very often."
It occurred to Kyra that this could descend into an awkward silence if she did not pick up the conversation ball. She wanted to soak in the cuteness a little longer.
"Where are you from?"
