School House Rumbles 3: Act 1, Cadet

:Took his hat off and scarths his head, curious he spoke.: "What language is that?"

"German, I think."

"Really?" asked the small blond girl. "Why do you not like them?"

Then she quickly added: "Oh, pardon my manners, I neglected to introduce myself: My name is Eisen Marionette Coppelia Schneider. A pleasure to meet you!"

The name is Casimir, pleasure to make your acquaintance." He smiled.

"Sorry, I wouldn't know about that," Eisen said. "I've never been in the military."

"Me neither, what you said just reminded me of something they would say. It was a... Joke." He smiled.

:Axel looks about his class mates, he spoke up.:

"My name is Axel, who are you guys?" :Just decides to break some ice, hey he is not polite. Not a surprise due to background.:

"I'm King" King says staring at Axel

Marko had been lost in thought, and just noticed the new girl.

What is that little girl doing here? Perhaps she is one of the instructors daughters.

He walked over to her and bent down closer to her level, "Excuse me miss, but are you lost?" he asked the little girl, "If you like I could help you find your parents."

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I rather doubt you can," Eisen said. "My... parents have been dead for three years now, you see."

"What's with the stare King? Makes it feel like I am going to get heat visioned or something."

"Or perhaps we do." He offers.

"No, this is the signal that Arcadia is sending to us, so they are the ones proving something.

Chuckling a bit at this he responds, "At ease, Cadet. Last I checked this wasn't the military, it's alright to take it easy." He then smiles at her.

"Eh, there's no harm in it." Samantha looks over the German. "She might be sending the right signal herself."

"Really?" asked the small blond girl. "Why do you not like them?"

Then she quickly added: "Oh, pardon my manners, I neglected to introduce myself: My name is Eisen Marionette Coppelia Schneider. A pleasure to meet you!"

"Nice to meet you as well, Eisen. So..." Samantha pauses.

I have no idea what to ask these people.

"What's your favorite type of cheese?"

"Sorry, I wouldn't know about that," Eisen said. "I've never been in the military."

"Not many kids here have."

Skye zips up the stairs on her hoverboard, and hops off once at the top. She looks around at the group gathered and smiles. "Hi! My name is Skye. Are we all new?" She asks as she packs the 'board in it's case.

Finally reaching the top of the stairs, the girl ran over to the group of new recruits. Without even stopping to catch her breath, she held up her acceptance letter and announced in a loud voice: "C-Cadet Schneider reporting for duty! Please excuse me for being late!"

Robert winced.

"Not so loud please," He said before breaking into a yawn. Maybe it was time to find a sleeping spot?

"Some ol' bull#)#() right? make us walk up those long ass stairs to get here, then wait for them? Aren't they teachers? shouldn't they be here before us?

Mack nodded enthusiastically.

"I know, right? Makes me wonder if they've got their act together, or if they're just trying to show us exactly how much of a crap they really give 'bout us."

Mack looked over in Axel's direction. Did he know this guy? He looked familiar. Hmmm... maybe on one of those forays into the Scoop? Not someone to mess with, then. Still, guy'd introduced himself. Worth earning some cred by showing some respect in return.

"Mack. Guys I ran with called me 'Slim'."

By the time Richard reached the final steps of the long and difficult hike, odious amounts of sweat had wetted him all but thoroughly. His feet burned in aches as Richard groaned himself to a stop. If this was what he had to look forward to over the next year, then maybe he should have taken his chances with mom and dad.

He breathed in air of Sector Nine's mountains. This was nothing like mother's slums or father's concrete jungles. It was almost terrifyingly easy to believe there'd be nobody here for miles that wasn't a part of the place that he guessed would be his home for the forseeable future.

"Seems to be the case." Richard smiled, "Kinda nice to see that the stairs haven't completely killed us off. I think we might just survive this. Although," Richard chuckled eyeing the hoverboard, "I guess that there made the hike a whole lot more bearable."

"Cool name Slim."

:He in turn goes quiet, he thinks he may met this guy before. Just that feeling. But not going to start in something. He may have problems, but he was not stupid enough to provoke anything. The Battle Monkey thing was just a joke. As he observes some more then. Curious to who does what.:

"I don't usually like things that leave a bad first impression on me. Hikes have definitely left a bad first impression on me." She declared, picking up her travel bag which she had discarded in her near-tumble. "I'm Rosemary" The girl replied, but felt a need to give her full name to Eisen in some sense of trying to match herself to the seemingly superhuman one. "Rosemary Brielle Vargreaves."

"That is so cool!" Samantha practically shouts, looking excited and forgetting the two people she was already talking to.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I rather doubt you can," Eisen said. "My... parents have been dead for three years now, you see."

"My sympathies, miss."

A poor little orphan girl, I wonder how she ended up coming to this school, perhaps she is homeless? In that case it is my duty to make sure she is delivered to a place where she can be properly cared for. I will simply have to accept whatever punishment the institute seems fit to give me for my tardiness.

"Well then, come along miss, we can't very well have a little girl wandering around alone, I will see to it that you are delivered to you proper guardians immediately!" Marko declared, grabbing ahold of Eisen's hands and leading her towards the steps.
