and how is it? I haven't really heard anything about it one way or the other but after seeing the movie (a few times) I wanted to know if the title was worth checking out or if anyone was enjoying it so far.

its pretty good
The new zodiac seems pretty powerful , thanos is in it ,and its fun to see hulk with the avengers.
There have been threads about each issue in this forum. Other then one or another nitpick, and a lot of trepidation, most of the opinions, even of those who usually don't like Bendis, seems favorable. I myself, though having a vow not to buy any Avengers material by Bendis untill he leaves, am considering buying when it comes out on TPB (when, most likely, he'll have already left). Love Bagley's art. Like the line-up. Zodiac are some old favorites as villians (even if it's a new Zodiac), and the book is supposed to be high-octane action for those who enjoyed the movie. However, those are just the impresions I have got from reading the previously mentioned threads. I'm sure others will have first hand experience to offer you.
Peace
it looks good as my hamsters cage bedding

So I am confused I have read some other post and wasn't sure but is Avengers Assemble only in the Marvel Movie universe or the main MU?
I read it.
I liked it.
Its not the best avenger title. Perhaps the weakest. But lm gonna stick with it 4 a hile cause love the writer
Pros: Award-winning writer, good colors, and high-tier superheroes.
Cons: The award-winning writer is Brian Bendis.
Personal highlights: The Hulk wore tattered purple pants (yay!).
The low points: The Hulk spoke.
Jobbing content: 10/10
Final verdict: Buy it. You will probably love it.![]()

I've been finding it irritating for one reason: It's supposed to be in the normal continuity, but it simply can't be. The Hulk is doing his old "Hulk Smash" talk, but he hasn't spoken like that in years. He doesn't talk like that in his own series. Also, "an Ultimate Nullifier." "As though there's more than one. Thor asks who would invent it, but I think it's known to have come from Galactus. There's just weird stuff like that going on in the book. Stuff that makes me believe it can't actually be in-continuity.
Yup. This week I also got The Avengers Initiative and Hulk Smash Avengers 1 and 2. The movie seems to have made me Avengers-happy.
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...
It's never been referred to as anything besides THE Ultimate Nullifier. It was the most powerful weapon in the Universe, and the only thing that could actually defeat Galactus... until they watered him down and turned him into just another jobber. Galactus kept it under constant security in his worldship, for crying out loud. Now it's just another plot device that a bunch of D-Grade baddies carry around in a suitcase. Blechhh.
I'm not crazy about the title, and the whole Thanos-Zodiac thing is just giving me hives. I love the Avengers, though, so I'm toughing it out to see if better days are on the horizon.
Maybe I'll read it once a different writer has started on it. Right now... it's not for me.
I bought it to see the Avengers fight someone other than Norman Osborn and I'm currently enjoying it...lots.
