After the failures of Young X-Men and Generation Hope versus the success of Wolverine and the X-Men, it's clear that such a book isn't sustainable. Junior X-Men without the classics doesn't sell. I don't think they're likely to rip apart one of their flagship titles on such a risk.

Well that would leave one more month of AvX unless it finishes in August. It is bi-monthly, so it could happen. If it is the alternate reality X-Men of Pax Utopia, then maybe that is how X-treme X-Men ties back to 616 as editorial stated. XXM are the new Exiles so maybe someone send Dazzler on a mission to set things back to normal and break Pax Utopia?

I would guess a Charles / Magnus buddy book, chronicling their adventures together prior to the story where they fought Baron Strucker and Eric ran off with all the gold.

I think it's best you guys keep your hype in check. Lest we forget the X-Treme X-men reveal.

I'm just gonna assume this is a Bendis/Land project until otherwise noted and be happily surprised.

Anybody else think that the current role of editorial is sitting in a room comign up with words that go before and after X-Men or Avengers.

Seriously though whatever this is Marvel have just given up trying.
