Wow, tough call.....looking back at the era when they co-existed, I would say Gwen only cause I was/am a sucker for the go-go boots/headband combo.


Obviously, MJ has had decades more "page time" without Gwen around and so we have gotten to see her in styles of the last 4 decades, a decided advantage over poor old Gwendy who has been pushing up daisies since Nixon was in the White House.

Gwen did have more of a distinctive style. But it's still a tough call.

I can't really say which one is better; they just had different styles that fit their personalities.

And yeah, MJ spent the seventies pretty coked up.

Their fashion really just depend on the comic book artists that are involved. It's not like comic book artists are the epitome of the fashion industry.

Of course there are some who actually think they themselves have a keen sense of style so the characters that they work on end up being the poor victims of those clothing choices LOL. Not saying all of them but some here in the US, dressing sharp and trendy isn't on the top of a comic book artist's lists of things to do. Not vain enough.
