I wonder what the "major event spanning across all the Justice League group titles later this year." This is a solicit for August, so there are only four more months left in the year. Trinity War isn't until 2013, right?

Calling it now. Justice League #12 is e ding badly or the league expanses. They say this incarnation of the league is over. I'm guessing JLI is going to be revamped come issue #13 with Dido writing and omac still on the team.

The only part of this that excites me? "The Final Fate of this incarnation of the JLI"!

Hopefully that means Jurgens is gone and we get a more promising creator on the title! Mike Costa, here we commmeeee!! (he said he always wanted to work on Booster Gold).

I'm pretty open to other writers on JLI, honestly. I think there are a number of ways you can go that are satisfying; on the one hand, someone like Brian Clevinger or Judd Winick could turn the book into a fun superhero book, I think, with interesting personalities and quips and the like. On the other hand, I think Mike Costa or Eric Trautmann or Joshua Fialkov could turn the book into an interesting look at the political and cultural frictions of a true international super team.

I'd welcome either way. All that I want is a solid writer at the helm.

This group isn't working well.. but it needs to keep OMAC and Booster around.. and give Vixen a danged chance fer crying out loud. Before Kevin showed she was my main attraction from the book.. she may as well be Pepper Potts the way she's been featured.

They almost seem to be turning the group into a DC Avengers, complete with Hulk (OMAC), Iron Man (Booster Gold), Black Panther (Batwing), etc.
