I liked Sandra, loved Deedee but just never got warmed up to Stormy. But I am looking forward to this series, looks like it could be lots of fun and while Cat Staggs art is really good...she's not Amanda Conner and that was a mean little tease putting AC art on there. Oh well.
As for the costume, I am loving it! Probably one of the best of the Nu52.

Explain to me why this isn't an ongoing, for god's sake? Sounds wonderful.

Hopefully they are setting up to roll it all together into a Freedom Fighters book later on.

The original costumes might not win any awards, but these new ones are ugly with senseless clutter. You want a costume to stand the test of time and become iconic, making it needlessly complicated is usually not the way to go.

Love these characters and Gray and Palmiotti's Freedom Fighters but I'm not digging these redesigns. I really liked the recent Doll Man. He kinda had a badass Bruce Willis vibe.

Have to agree with you there, Mr. Ed Love.

Phantom Lady's isn't too bad, but Doll Man, well, he looks like a NASCAR driver.

Hope they make a change before the series comes out.
    I seriously miss Captain Mar-Vell.

Actually, he looks a little like . . . Donna Troy's husband Terry Long.

It's not an ongoing because it won't sustain sales over a long run. They want it to do well but doubt it'll do gangbusters. Freedom Fighters have a dedicated audience but not big enough for a DC or Marvel ongoing.

Quite true Ray had absolutely miserable sales.

Will be buying but Doll Man? I think I would have left that name in the 30s. I love seeing these revisioned ideas start showing up because the last go around they were basically the same thing as before. But Doll Man? Even the name Ragdoll has more punch.

Trademarks and copyrights cause comic book companies to do . . . questionable things sometimes.

He looks like Donna Troy's husband in a NASCAR uniform.
