I think Tarantula would fit Milo if he assumed another name

Nick Fury is too busy for that now with the chaos ensuing in the Ultimate Universe, as a matter of fact he might not even be SHIELD agent buy the end of this story. Besides I doubt Miles' parents would be anywhere near okay with him training to fight for SHILED, especially with all of the horrible things that have been happening in the Ultimate Universe and especially considering what happened Miles' predecessor. Lastly the Ultimate books have been selling okay recently but not enough to warrant Marvel giving them another title, especially a new title with a newer character without a name like Spider-Man to help him out.
I would actually be interested if they DID kill Peter Parker in this new movie-verse and allowed Miles to become Spider-man. Of course Miles origin is somewhat contrived. I mean that his Uncle would happen to break into Oscorp which still has an Oz-enhanced spiders walking around that happens to jump into his uncle's bag and happens to bite Miles? That's a bit much to buy and not nearly as random as the events that made Peter Spider-man.
What I do think is that Miles should have been the focus of the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon. Again, I'm aware of production schedules, but it would've been a great way to indoctrinate kids into the world of black Spider-man.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
...Is this even a thing? No, really. Is this a legitimate question?
1. It's a reboot. Spider-Man is Peter Parker to start, so why would they change?
2. "The Amazing" is part of the title of the comic in which you'll notice Peter is still alive and kicking. Oh, and still being Spider-Man.
Is there anything else I can help clarify? I might have missed something. Oh, and Michael P's Doctor Who comment makes the most valid point I've seen in relation to this topic.
Maybe it's good, maybe not. I think it's good to have the same person for the same movie. But a change is also good.
But this story is other than the movies which a long time ago came out.

I kind of agree. I don't get why Peter continues to be the main character in the Spider-Man movies. They could have just left Tobey McGuire's trilogy as it was, and had one about Miles... Tell me it wouldn't sell out...
