Why will peter parker still be spider-man in The Amazing Spider-man? Since we already saw peter parker in the first three movies why not change him? This is "the amazing" spider-man so I don't get it why it's still parker and not some other kid. I don't see any reason why it should be him

Now not buying floppies ever again and currently selling my whole collection. Hardcovers are the way forward.

I agree with the above poster that this makes no sense.
It's kind of like saying that Clark Kent shouldn't be Superman in the new movie because he's already been Superman in 5 other ones.

why is it no fun to watch the same character with a different story and a new creative team?
