I do hope that they can find a full-time artist for this book.
I'm going to give it another shot when Bunn takes over full-time. I like the premise. I like the writer.
With as many books as Bunn is now writing/co-writing, I can't help but feel that Marvel must have some pretty major plans post AvX.

Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
Bunn is probably one of my favourite up and coming writers right now
so for him to get a chance to take on an up and coming hero like Venom is a good move

I just realized Bunn's name was on the last issue, didn't know Remender was leaving.
I've heard good things on Bunn at least on this board for his previous work and I hope he can maintain the darker but not too depressing setting Remender crafted for Flash's world as Agent Venom.
Looks good! He gets his own Oracle that's cool cover 23 is done really well
Bunn seems to get a lot of work at Marvel right now. i mean, he wrote "The Fearless" maxi series, is currently writing an arc for "Wolverine", is the main writer for "Captain America and..." and now "Venom".
but what book will Remender take over now is the really interesting question here. he's currently writing "Uncanny X-Force" and "Secret Avengers". maybe there's more Avengers in the cards form him?

I was honestly wondering if this was coming when he came on to co-write. Sad to see Remender go when he was doing so well with the series as this one is seriously my favorite title in the Spider-man side of things right now.
Still, I do like Cullen Bunn. I loved his work for Oni Press (The Damned, The Sixth Gun) though I didn't read The Fearless and thus don't know how he does with Marvel. Still, hope for the best and look forward to seeing the continuing adventures of Flash. I like the sound of what he doing and hope he continues on with this being a quality title.
Best of luck, Mr. Bunn.
Since he's featured on one of the covers in the article, I'm hoping the Lecter to Venom's Clarice is Daimon Hellstrom...would love to see Son of Satan appearing regularly someplace.
There's no sense in nonsense when the heat's hot.
Why doesn't Marvel make the effort hire:
Mike Zeck
Bart Series
Stephen Pratt
Jae Lee
To be regular artist for Venom?![]()
Could've figured Remender would be leaving soon. Haven't read much Bunn, but I'm willing to give him a shot. This has been a great series so far. Pretty excited for the creative direction too.

Why exactly is Hellstorm evil now anyway? I heard it happened during the Fearless, which was weird after just reading an arc where he was helping Loki save people. Bunn seems to be bringing a more magical bent towards Venom, which is rather curious in the face of everything thus far. It'd definitely be the sort of thing to throw him for a loop since at least what he has been doing has some similarity to being a soldier if that makes any sense.
