Hmmm. Well, I do think she's a much more skilled fighter than the guy with the hat
As I said, Diana equals Ms Marvel/Rogue in the Marvel Universe; Wonder Woman's strength is finite and does not increase like the Hulk's. Hulk "No Diana versus Galactus!"; you seriously need a clue when it comes to the Marvel characters.

And you could perhaps get a clue about jokes?

Perhaps you can admit that it's increasingly difficult to tell when you're serious or joking from some of your posts; or, maybe, you're just using post time to let loss from things in your personal life.

Wow, looks like I may or may not be able to make it to the Big Wow Comic fest; I haven't even made my travel arrangements yet.

I'm almost never completely serious, but really, when there's a smilie right next to it...

It may not seem like much to some people, but as an older fan, I grew up in the 60s and 70s with a dearth of female role models. Wonder Woman stood side-by-side with the male heroes and was just as powerful and just as strong as they were without being Superman's cousin/kid sister.

The inconsistencies in her power level are ridiculous and frustrating to read. Here's a woman who battles it out with Superman in the Sacrifice storyline, trading blows that knock each other hundreds of miles around. Then I pick up an issue of the JLA with the Royal Flush Gang and there's this bit where someone affects the laws of probability and a pipe falls from the ceiling and hits Diana on the back of the head and she goes down.

She meant a lot to me growing up and I really hate to see her power levels brought down. So far in the Nu52 they haven't really shown much, though the catching the plane in the latest JLA was nice :)

I just hope that this time around, she's still up there in power and, more importantly, that editorial enforces her power level in books across the board.
I feel your pain about Wondy they need to pick a power level in stick to it this is the same thing Marvel has done with Magneto another character i love.

Going on real world concepts, I don't think its that male writers & fans are afraid fo strong women, because during the times I've helped men date women, what I've found is a mix of what William Marston has theorized (that men actually desire for a stronger woman that they can "safely" submit to) and that men just resent a DOMINEERING woman who makes them feel less of a man. There's a difference.

So how that translates to the comics is that probably writers just want to see a less perfect Wondy for its endless possibilities.

    Oh, and BTW:

Its VERY interestig to me how the poll shows Ironman getting any votes at all! I would have expected Thor, Capt, Black Widow, and maybe Hulk to get all the votes.

For ANYONE who votes Ironman or Hawkeye, I'd like to know your reasoning for thinking that they have any common elements to Wondy. I would equate Ironman & Hawkeye to Batman & Green Arrow.

For Capt: The WW2 factor, the stars & stripes, etc.
For Thor: Mythological factor, the stranger to a strange new land, etc.
For Hulk: The emotional factor (albeit OPPOSITE), maybe the strength levels. Although I will say that if its anger that increases Hulk's strength, I read somewhere that its LOVE that increases Wondy's. Interesting.

For Black Wid: They're both strong women, super spy connection, martial arts, that's all I can think of.

    Hey Belgy,

Realize that sarcasm, no matter how humorus you think it is, can translate as dissing online. Be aware! Limit, and segment, your humor! You confuse people, then you will piss them off.

If we're talking about cosmic entities, the Champion is originally stronger than any of the Earth's heroes, even without the Power Gem. Adding the billions of years of combat experience, there's not doubt he'd mop the floor with both Hulk and Wonder Woman, if he fought unrestrained. I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote a story where he defeated Cyttorak when he was still a physical being.

Not even Superman has Hulk-mevel strength. The Hulk specifically has no upper limit to his strength. It is effectively infinite. Which is of course all kinda of silly, but there you go. Grounded, more realistic Marvel heroes indeed.
Not at all. Superman is as strong as the story needs him to be. That's why he has actually lifted infinite weight with captain marvel.

Champion lost to she-hulk, got punked by silver surfer in two blasts, oneshotted by drax, couldn't ko thing, etc.

I think they're just afraid of a strong woman ;)
Who are those comic fans? Wonder Woman fans or random trolls?

Superman has enough power to take on army of hulks and win. Wonder Woman can do the same.
