yeah, and Butterfly Girl comes across as super serious! Not silly at all!
Way to go out on a limb and criticize Glob.
VIVA KUSASAN!!! Morrison On Magneto: I made him into a stupid old drug-addicted idiot. CC had done a lot of good work over the years to redeem the character. And I went in and sh*t on all of it.
I hate ugly, useless mutants.
Herman better have a kick-ass grandson or something similar to justify his existence.
Sorry Brevoort, Alonso and Lowe, but Jean Grey is a classic character. She'll outlive you regardless. :)
The Diary of a Supa-Cool Nerd!
"She cried, “Laura,” up the garden, “Did you miss me?
Come and kiss me. Never mind my bruises,
Hug me, kiss me, suck my juices
Squeez’d from goblin fruits for you,
Goblin pulp and goblin dew."
I didn't mind Glob when he first showed up. He was a fairly tragic character and played out his role as one of Quire's goons quite well. He really has no reason for existing outside of that story. I do appreciate that there should be more physically fucked up mutants at the school though.
I did like the nod to Morrison's run with him being set on fire in legacy too.
He's annoying, but he's annoying because he's meant to be annoying, as opposed to the entirety of Kyle/Yost's cast who were annoying because they were melodramatically written.
I'm rather thankful that most of the actual garbage characters - Beast, Captain Britain, etc - have been sent off into space where they can be burnt alive or w/e
Even someone as stupid as Glob should be able to recognize his own painfully obvious limitations by now. He's just lucky he was attacking the Avengers. Any real super villain worth his salt would've curbstomped Herman into oblivion and be done with it.
