So good, can't wait to check the interaction between Damian and Jason. I'm assuming we're not seeing Steph here, he he... :(
By the way, does'nt this sound really similar to that rumored Robins title written by Lemire?.

Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
@ ArnoldoAAD-
I expect that would be true but I'm wondering why bother. He has the approval of the original Robin and he already believes that he is better than all of the previous Robins because he has had far more training then they had when they took up the mantle. He has no interest in having a relationship with Tim or Jason so I don't know that this is what Tomasi is doing with this arc. Unless Damian is wanting to put that belief to the test or unless Tomasi intends to tell a story in which Damian learns that each Robin has his own strengths and that none of them are "perfect" even himself I don't see the point in this story line. Personally, I don't really care as I have dropped the title because it either has been far to predictable for my tastes (as in the arc that was just concluded) or been just to inconsistant in places (as in this latest issue) for it to continue to be a part of my pull.

I'm loving Batman and Robin. It's my second favorite out of all the books I'm currently following, second only to Snyder's Batman. I'm looking forward to the next story with all the former Robins. I'll be glad to see Tim. I'm a Tim Drake fan, but I have no interest in the current Teen Titan series so it'll be nice to see him show up here. Can't wait for Tomasi's über-story, whatever it is.
Top 5 favorite current books (in no particular order): Batman Inc., Batman, Batman and Robin, Daredevil, Superior Spider-Man

I do see a point on this character arcs cause they are necessary for the growth of the character
is not filler, is going to eventually serve a purpose and being this the first robin reunion ever (not counting the atrocious BftC) it has certain pull
yeah this is those kind of stories in which Damian is doing to prove his father and himself but will then realize that he doesnt need to prove anything
but is the ride that counts
maybe is cause i like stories with character development
I like stories with character development. Not sure where you got that I didn't. The thing is that this story has already been told in miniature with Damian having to "prove himself" to Dick while the two partnered up as Batman and Robin in the recent past and like the previous arc it has the feeling of a rehash to me. If Damian doesn't care about the other former Robins or what they think about him as Robin then why should he care about proving himself to them. He has the trust and approval of the only former Robin he believes to be important enough to warrant his consideration. His view on the others who came before him seems to be that they were undeserving of being partnered with his father and even what was said in this interview seems to indicate this.

Batman and robin 12 cover pretty badass
I didnt say you didnt
probably will make more sense once the book comes out but we never have actually seen his thoughts in detain on Jason and TimThe thing is that this story has already been told in miniature with Damian having to "prove himself" to Dick while the two partnered up as Batman and Robin in the recent past and like the previous arc it has the feeling of a rehash to me. While I was interested in the upcoming Robins arc, I'm not so much now (after reading that interview). Especially after hearing how Damian didn't consider any of the past Robins as his friends. While it was true for Jason and definitely Tim, it couldn't have been more wrong in describing his relationship with Dick. Dick was the only character (pre-DCnU) that I can recall Damian openly admitting to be friends with. While I do at least consider Steph, Colin and MAYBE Supergirl to be among those as well, Dick was the only one I recall him openingly referring to as friend. The entire last issue of the Batman pre-DCnU (Batman #713) cemented that (if it wasn't clear beforehand). Here are two examples of that:

Yes exactly. Reading the interview i felt like tomasi was saying "yeah damian respects him but that's it". Dude, D&D are bros for life. The kid almost didnt want his own father to return from the dead because he liked being Dick's Robin.
And that reminds me about the price that we paid for the 52.
