Not sure why people are so eager to drop the book since Bunn is probably doing the scripting for the current arc. At least you'd get a feel of his dialogue. Me personally, I'm jumping back on for at least one issue.

Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
Brubaker has been on that book for a long time, and as someone's who been following since the early Winter Soldier days, I feel like he's just spinning his wheels now.
I think he's taking off and working on some big new project post AvX, and then I guess Bunn will have both Captain America books(if they're still around).
What it come down to is I think Marvel got a lot of stuff plan for after AVX Rick did say him leaving was because a new project that him and Marvel is not ready to talk about yet. I like how so call comic fans can tell how something is going to turn out before it is released.

Ishmael, Moses and Job, knew the divine order.
I'm very sad, if not especially surprised, that Remender is leaving VENOM. I'm sure that Remender's departure is to free him up for a post AvX project and whatever book he's on, I'll be getting it. As for Bunn, I liked his Fear Itself: Fearless mini a lot and his first two issues of Wolverine were solid as well. I don't think he's quite on par with Remender but that's not to say his writing isn't decent in its own right. I'll definitely stick around for his first solo arc.
Bunn certainly has big shoes to fill. Remender did a great job with this title. Best of luck!
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.
