Default "Marvel's The Avengers: Battle For Earth" Confirmed For Wii U, Xbox 360 Kinect

Ubisoft has confirmed development of "Avengers: Battle for Earth," though the motion-control based game will be based on the comics' "Secret Invasion" storyline rather than the hit movie's continuity.

They've chosen the worst possible storyline.

Finally a Marvel Avengers game just for the Avengers movie, although I have to say the plotline does seem a bit similar to a game I heard of before, but what was it ?

Are you implying that basing a video game around World War Hulk, House of M or Fear Itself would have been better?! Daft.

I only have a PS3 and am actually glad I won't be able to accidentally purchase this one. Good video games typically have a longer development time than 4 or 5 months. This sounds like a cash grab.

I'm still dubious about any game based on a movie not named Goldeneye, but if Ubisoft is willing to put time and effort into this game I'm willing to give it a chance. But that'll be pretty tricky since I don't have an X-box 360 or a Wii-U. There are better storylines they could have chosen besides Secret Invasion, but there are worse. So I'm okay with the premise. It's the gameplay that usually makes these movie-based games so insufferable.

I have to imagine the platform it's on is highly unlikely to prevent you from accidentally purchasing it. If one were absent-minded enough to outright buy the wrong video game, I can't assume the platform they bought the wrong video game for would come up.

And I have to imagine that English is not your first language. Your post is inscrutable.

Agreed. Plus while I don't hate motion controls I'm leery of any motion control licence game. *cough*Star Wars Kinect*cought*

I can handle a bad game about something i really like

but as mentioned above the newest star wars game has proven

bad game + bad kinect controls trumps how much i may like the games motivation

I hope Ororo Munroe aka Storm will be a playable character.

Okay, before this thread this is what I knew about Tish, zip, zero, nada.
I now know that Tish is a heavily armed, black, bi-sexual, truck driving woman who likes going to the clubs.
