How will cap stop phoenix from destroying worlds? If Cap got Hope, Phoenix will still go towards hope and destroying worlds while making the journey. Even moving Hope away from earth would not stop Phoenix from destroying other worlds.

And it was not Scott that made hope run away it was Wolverine. When he tried to assassinate hope.

And at the end of X-sanction when Hope first manifested Phoenix powers in front of Scott and Cable, Cable from the future he showed Scott, that the avengers should be stopped in trying to get hope or the future is doomed. I believe Scott is acting on that? But then again there was also Bishop, reasoning hope will cost the destruction of the world. Which future is right? I wonder.

Though, I guess Scott knew her too well, and realized she'd do the right thing if left a choice, and agree to a mission to stop the PF. Hell, the Hope we got to know during the last year would have insisted on heading that mission to space.

Which would have jeopardized Scott's goal to wield that power for his own end, of course, and probably is one of the reasons why he resorted to violence when talking to Cap - he was afraid that Hope might side against him, so he escalated the situation and quickly locked her away. And as we have seen, all that accomplished was scaring her away, shattering her trust in the people who were supposed to be on her side.

So that planet there? That's Scott's burden now. As will be any other world the Phoenix destroys before it can finally be stopped. I hope the mutant race is worth all that death.

Had Scott allowed Hope to make her own decison, she wouldn't have moved away from the Phoenix, but insisted on being taken right towards it to reinforce Thor's team (Marvel Earth has very effective FTL travel at its disposal, capable of crossing galaxy-spanning distances within mere hours). That's what she does, and how her character has been developed. From Schism up to the beginning of A vs X, Hope has been portrayed as someone who takes the lead, jumps right into the face of danger, and will stand her ground no matter what.

Does anyone believe she would have declined had Cap got a chance to talk to her? Here's what the discussion might have looked like, based on her characerizatin.

Cap: "Hope, the Phoenix is coming."
Hope: "I know, I can feel it."
Cap: "We have reports that it destroys any planet it encounters on the way here. We believe the Earth is in grave danger."
Hope: "Don't worry, I'm sure I can control it. I'm prepared to face it."
Cap: "Are you sure? I hope you understand that we'll still have to take you off planet, just as a safeguard."
Hope: "Of course, but you'll do more than that. Take me to it as fast as you can. I'll make sure to stop it before it can harm another world."
Cap: "This could be dangerous, are you sure..."
Hope: "This is my destiny. Don't try to stop me. What are we waiting for?"

And it was not Scott that made hope run away it was Wolverine. When he tried to assassinate hope.
She took down the young mutants ordered to keep her captive before Wolverine showed up.

And at the end of X-sanction when Hope first manifested Phoenix powers in front of Scott and Cable, Cable from the future he showed Scott, that the avengers should be stopped in trying to get hope or the future is doomed. Neither of these futures will be the exact future of the 616 universe, which doesn't exist at this point. Time travel in Marvel always involves going into a parallel reality, so it's impossible to tell which variables are different from your home reality when looking at any given future. The Avengers in the future Cable saw might as well have been Osborne's, or Skrulls, possessed wildly differend personalities, or existed in a world where the X-Men were led by Magneto or Exodus.
