THANK YOU! Adorable!
Ah, didn't catch that on Thur. And you're probably right. Though, I think Loki's new monicker, Luke, is also a nod to the Promethean aspect of Loki, or more negatively, the Lucifer side.
More LOL moments for me. I also loved the panel of Volstagg with the incriminating donut glaze on him, tells poor Loki they are "sold out" of glazed donuts! LOL!
As someone who has done a little RPG, I did like all the gaming references. Especially the tongue like a Flail of Reaving (+3).
I loved this issue JIM is always a good read. I am loving this crossover and cant wait for the next issue in NM. Also is Ikol really that bird Luke/Loki is carrying around are did the Spell that Sigurd use turn Ikol into a voice inside Loki's head because of the fact Ikol was part of old Loki's soul.

Looks like Ikol is the bird Loki is carrying around, so he's inanimate at the moment...I don't think we "hear" anything from him after he asks Loki, in Exiled, if he wants to know where the Disir have got to. Which begs a couple of questions. (1) How the heck does he know? and (2) is Ikol "out" as a talking bird, now? I mean, we know he can talk to Loki, but it looks like he's asking this of Loki at a point when Thor and the Warriors Three are right there.
Hm. Strikes me that even if they're distracted with Thori at the time, Loki could be coming in for some large questions later, about how either he or Ikol got their information. Or knew the Disir were loose, in the first place.
And another thought...when Loki throws off the spell on him, thinkin' this is the first "magical" thing he's been able to do all run. A touch of his abilities coming back?
Mostly moved on to fanfiction.net...
Really? Didn't know that. Funny, but I'm not sure if the licensing would have been an issue.
I'm not very good with coming up with names ... all I can think of right now is Silvertongue or Trickster.... Tricksy?
Ha! Yes, he would have. I was kind of surprised by Tyr, but upon reflection, it works well.
LOL! Yes. Happens to me all the time. Though, there's lots of interesting look trees in these issues.
After they fixed Loki, why didn't they restore the others (including pigeon Ikol)?
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
Also, just wanted to say I am loving Exiled. I think this young Loki is my favorite version of him.

He also resisted Karnilla's forgetting Thor spell. I think it's more Magic Resistance, than actually using magic.
1) Ikol is a smart bird. He knows lots of things that Loki and others don't know.
2) We don't know if Thor and the others actually heard Ikol speak. To them, he may have simply sounded like a bird.
I notice, Thor doesn't usually ask Loki things he doesn't really want to know.
Which reminds me, the Warriors Three 'true theological conundrum' over whether they are Vikings or Viking gods ... and Vikings are barbarians. LOL!
They didn't restore Loki; Doug just reminded him of his innate nature which snapped him back into reality. It's something that would only very specifically work with Loki, as was revealed later in the issue when we find that the spell cast by Sigurd is originally of Loki's crafting.
