Would the Court of the Owls story make a good movie?

Do you all think that the Court of Owls storyline would be a good one to go with for the eventual reboot or should they stick to more classic villains? I think if done right it could be really good, but it has potential to backfire.

I was going to say "hell no" at first. But I think if they made the owls concept much more compelling than Snyder has done so far, it could work.

It could be really creepy. Hopefully the labyrinth wouldn't be that long, but would still flip the image.

If they rework it and refine it, sure why not. But as it is... no. Unless maybe they bring in Arnold Swartzenegger to deliver the bat and owl monologues and puns, you know like the "let's get out of our nest" we got in the latest issue.

I really think if condensed down to fit the running time for a movie the Owls story would actually be a lot better than what we've seen so far. It's not that the story itself is bad or the concept is uninteresting I think it's just because it's been drawn out for so long that it has become somewhat repetitive.

I actually think it could work quite well. I'm hoping to be a film maker one day and I've had a few ideas about "new 52" films

It could be a very long arc in an animated series

I see it as a season long arc of a TV series with other villain's situations overlapping the main story.

I don't think the actors would be able to recite the dialogue without laughing uncontrollably.

I don't think it would be doable. A large part of the story relies on the parallels between the talons and robin. I don't see how everything could be fit in, certainly into one film. Someone comes along with a five part epic and I'm in though.
