I don't know but personally I want him gone after Spider-Men. I'm actually pretty hyped to see 616 Peter, perhaps even more interested in seeing him than Miles, but I don't want him round for long.

Marvel already made the absolute worst business decision...it was called One More Day.

Yea I don't see Peter staying in the UU, but I do wonder what the ramifications will be because for one thing, this is opening the genie's lamp and making Ultimate an official universe in the multiverse once and for all. Whether we like it or not, this opens up the possibility of future crossovers.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.

It was a bad story decision, sure, but it's not the "absolute worst business decision" Marvel has ever made - if it had been you can be certain Peter and MJ would have got straight back together again.

Bull-Shit, there will be no ramifications that will matter a few years after the event.

It doesn't have to be a large ramification. For example, as some of us have theorized already, Peter might give Miles a pair of Web-Shooters. This is a ramification that will last until Miles one day dies or the Ultimate Universe gets cancelled. That, my friend, is definitely something that will matter for years.

Default It's easy to predict the ramifications

The one rule of Spider-Man stories is that sooner or later, "Spider-Man will someday be the greatest hero that ever lived."

Mysterio has discovered that it appears to be a law that whatever the universe, there's something about Spider-Man that eventually some version of him, or her, will be the "greatest hero that ever lived." (See the 2099 version.) Mysterio is still not sure about Peter Parker, but he is dead-sure about Miles: barring some unforeseen influence, Miles will be the greatest hero that ever lived in the Ultimates universe. Mysterio wants to do some experiments to see just why Spider-Man has this role and if he can steal the secret for himself. And I look for Mysterio to indeed learn something, go back to 616, and become the next Norman Osborn corrupting the United States.

Anyone who doesn't think Marvel will double-down on Miles in the Ultimate universe just hasn't been paying attention to either Marvel or the stories.

This teaches us two things: One -- Marvel's relying on gimmicks to sell comics more now than ever before; and two -- anything they say can't or won't happen (such as Bucky returning, the Marvel U. and the Ultimate U. crossing over, or Ultimate U. Peter Parker coming back), don't believe them. This is the setup for Utlimate Peter coming back in some form. Or it's the setup for Marvel U. Peter to become a teenager again. Or maybe I'm totally wrong.

I bet the Zodiac Key will be involved.

What I've been thinking about is Bendis' quote about how 616 Mysterio has been involved with past Ultimate "goings-on", and how those of us who follow the line religiously will enjoy seeing his involvement revealed.

To me, that quote SCREAMED Dr.Strange but I don't now if Bendis even remembers that plot hook.

Still might happen. Supposely this is Peter's last year as Spider-Man in the 616.

If Peter's tale as Spider-Man ends it'll end with Peter and Mary Jane getting back together.

On a serious note is miles really the first ultimate minority with his own book well kinda it was peter's first but after 12 years he's the only one?

Refresh my memory: What does Mysterio have to do with Dr. Strange? Are you referring to the theory that Strange Jr's father might be 616 Strange?

He's the second EVER solo ultimate book regardless of race. First Peter, then Miles. One's white, the others black. Fair's fair.
