What issue is that panel originally from?
Anyway, great fun issue. I think this is the strongest issue of Avenging after the Captain America one and I'm really surprised at how well Spider-Man and She-Hulk gel.

Thug: Tell... tell my wife i love her...
Spider-man: No.
Also why did She Hulk call Spidey a pain in the "eerh?"
I know it's minor but did the writer not realize geeks would look up those hieroglyphs?

Fun read!
Grade: B
How does this book connect to the Amazing title, or does it even do so?
Because if there's going to be a new Spider-Man in Amazing after issue #700 what does that mean for this book?
I can't wait 'til Yost takes over.![]()
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
I thought this was one of the most LOUSIEST comic I've read in a long time! Time to drop this title! Waste of money for a 20 page book of nothing!
Just a fun issue all around.
Execution wasn't perfect but it was good enough to keep me smiling.
This is why I read comics.

You ever noticed that when Spider-Man teams up with another character, he becomes kind of submissive? I've noticed it in most issues of this series, in AvX #1 and even in that one arc from Ultimate X-Men. They always seem to make Spidey start acting like a side kick, it's so strange.
Well, if I were hanging with She-Hulk, I'd probably be submissive, too. I mean, if she were into that sort of thing.
...yeah.
For realsies, the traditional reason is that Spidey, being a geeky outcast, isn't used to taking charge in group settings. Sure, he'll step up if it's needed, (See "Ends of the Earth"), but even though he has leadership potential, he doesn't see himself that way, and behaves accordingly.
From a writers' standpoint, for the Avengers' titles, Spider-Man has his own book already, and the writer is limited to what s/he can do with the character without conflicting with that title. Same goes for most of the big name Avengers, like Cap and Wolverine.
