How about if the person isn't given the decision to go with the Avengers or not? Is it still kidnapping if she wanted to go?
Wait, I thought we were talking about Cap not being a "super cop." How'd we get on "It's not a prison camp?"Or even "this isn't a prison camp, they have board games !!!". I know you guys love these...
Lol, look who's talking, didn't you conveniently vanish right after I annihilated your argument ? Anyway, that letter wasn't in continuity.
By "vanished," I assume you mean "Got up to have a shower, get out of the house, pay some bills, pick up a mother's day present, do some grocery shopping, and then come home?"
Also, prove that the letter isn't in continuity. It's an easy thing to say, but let's see you back up this assertion.

How convenient.
Yeah because Hope definitely wanted to go with the Avengers. Wasn't she chained to her room to prevent her from contacting Captain America ?
And since it appears you can't disprove that the Avengers were in the wrong invading Utopia, I took it upon myself to move on with the conversation. Try to keep up.
Finally it's starting to sink in. I congratulate myself.
edit : and by the way, though I haven't been on these forums for very long, I can teach you how to multi-quote. For realz.
Not really. Paying bills is never a convenience.
But if you want to keep deluding yourself that you're that important and that your arguments are that "compelling," go right ahead. I can't stop you from believing what isn't true.
I think you just answered your own question.Yeah because Hope definitely wanted to go with the Avengers. Wasn't she chained to her room to prevent her from contacting Captain America ?
So, you're admitting you're moving the goalposts? And since it appears you can't disprove that the Avengers were in the wrong invading Utopia, I took it upon myself to move on with the conversation. Try to keep up.
This isn't something that makes you more credible, you realize?
At this point, I have a feeling that this is probably a stealth parody. Finally it's starting to sink in. I congratulate myself.

You're right on one thing. This argument is boring. Feel free to bow out.
So, have you just given up on trying to back up your claim that the letter "isn't in continuity?"
Because I noticed that you have yet to respond to that, even after "multi-quoting" me. In fact, you'd have to willfully edit out that portion of that post in order to avoid it.
What is there to back up ? Letter = Out of continuity. You have issues with words ? By definition, if the letter isn't canon, you will find no mention of it in the book so there is nothing to argue. Unless you find evidence in the book that says otherwise...
That's your interpretation. But since you aren't the end all be all authority on what does or doesn't count, an outside, objective source would help back up your claim. Something like one of the creators, editors or parties working AT Marvel SAYING that the letter is out of continuity.
XPac found evidence to back up his point. Certainly it shouldn't be hard for YOU, if it is so easy and there's "nothing to argue about."
Unless of course YOU are concerned about YOUR argument being "vanquished."
why is this even important... no matter how many times you invade utopia and then throw wolverine from your jet for wanting to kill children (hypocrite much?) the phoenix is still coming and even if hope is dead it's just gonna find someone else
