Their speculation that the outcome of this event will result in The Marvel Universe being separated into two comic book universes--The X-Men franchise in one and the Avengers and Marvel Heroes in another--I think could be very plausible outcome.

I don't think this will happen. Wasn't one of the points of this event to actually bring the X-men back into the greater Marvel U instead of them being in their own little world like they have been?

This is only Act 2 of three and to think the Avenger is going anywhere when they are the biggest thing in comics right now is foolish i think when all is said and done. The X Men will get more Mutants at a price that is going to be very high oh and the Avengers win this one.

I think it is funny that people keep thinking the X-Men are going to "lose" this fight when all is said and done.

How could they possibly lose-or more importantly, what do mutants have left to lose? At this point nothing, they are already at their low point in their existence.

They have nowhere to go but up.

In the end of this, mutants are going to get a gift. mutant babies will start popping up again, and I wouldn't be surprised to see depowered mutants juiced up again and (hopefully) some mutants come back from the dead. More characters in play=more stories to be told.

They still protect humans and the get repaid with attacks and government buffoons trying to harm them or imprison them.
