Yes, but considering how this event revolves around the Avengers and the X-Men fighting one another yet again, and having yet another return of the Phoenix, I sure wouldn't put it past Marvel to revisit the concept.

You know, while Scott may have a fight with them right now, trying to ensure that there are no more Avengers is all levels of stupid on Scott's part. They're a hero team who also save the world all the time and he's trying to be rid of them. That kind of thing makes the X-Men look like the villains in all of this, no wonder there's a shifting in alliances by the next issue.

Nobody thinks the avengers are going to be gone after this. It is just a very stupid marketing gimmick that will change things for about a year till they come back to the status quo.

The entire marvel universe outside the X-Men last I checked. I mean, do you really think everyone's just gonna be fine with that when everything is said and done? Also, I'm not sure how cool Magneto is gonna be with that considering it's inflicting the same thing that happened to them onto others. It'd be like him being cool with the X-Men starting up a Nazi-esc regime.
