Who do we think the third person is who Tony and Thor need before entering The City?

I don't think he was referring to Sue as at first it looked like he wasn't even going to tell her about Reed.

Also what are everybody's theories on Fury's miraculous escape? Where is he?

I think that Karen Grant may have had a hand in that and Fury is in Tian being cloaked from S.H.I.E.L.D.S radars.

Lastly, they seemed to go out of their way to make this new president seem like a decent guy. I guess my theory about the new president being a villain is out

Don't know who the third person is, hoping it is Captain Mahr-Vell but who knows. If they know Hulk is there, maybe they are going after Betty Ross.

I suspect Fury used the stealth dna treatment that Falcon developed earlier.

Thought it was a great issue. Yeah, it wasn't as epic as last month, but how do you follow on from blowing up the president!? Answer is you don't, and I think it's very wise of Hickman to spend this issue setting up things for the massive conclusion that's sure to follow. Tony's character development was really good, and was nice to see Sue again. Now she's in the loop I'm sure we'll see her pooping up to confront Reed in the conclusion. Wonder who the last person they need is?

As for the last page, I was kinda hoping Modi wouldn't be coming back for a while. He's got potential to be a great character, but I can't see them having two Thor's running around. Which means one of them is gonna die, and I get the feeling its likely be Thor, which is a real shame cause he's my fave UU characters (kinda tied with Fury).

I'm gonna guess it's Sue, based on her appearance in this issue.

    Just read it. Brilliant stuff.

I wonder how much of this is from Hickman and how much is from Humphries. And how different would it have been had it been only Hickman writing.

Wrong way around. The ghosts were telling him to break up with her because he was going to die anyway and she would 'find out' about them. Thor didn't want to so ghost Balder tells him to reassure her everything will be OK.

There is a difference between ideological hatred and selling out a man's private medical history to the press. Do you think Thor would trust her if she was like that?

I hope that it's not because I can't think of what use she could be since she was the first one Reed demonstrated to be immune to and that was before he had even developed any of that. Only thing I could think of is reminding him of his humanity and I don't think she'd be willing to even try considering that she was the first one to give up on him.

I'd assume that getting an introduction to a new US President in the UU this way could well mean they'll play an active role in the future - especially since America is basically just being utterly destroyed between the events in Ultimates and X-Men. Having an actual character leading the rebuilding/retaliation from all the way at the top could be really useful.

Fury's ducking out here makes me feel like they're going to put him out of the frame for a while, probably just letting him work away in the background as mainstream Fury had to for a long while. Though, how they could really differentiate that from the last time he got bumped out of the Director role at SHIELD, who knows.

I appreciated Thor's reflection on the world as being "worse than a troll's toe", as it really does seem like the entire world in the UU has just fallen apart completely. It really does look like things can never really return to any kind of normalcy again, but how much longer can we really go in this line where everyone is just living through hell constantly? I'm hoping we get a glimmer of hope out of Divided We Fall's conclusion - but mostly 'cos I just don't really know how much further this world could actually fall.

I wouldn't count Thor out just yet. We don't really know what's going to happen with Modi. I admit that I'm trying to be optimistic here because like you, I really, really like Ultimate Thor and his current redesign is badass. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed we don't lose him.

I hope we don't lose Ultimate Thor either, if anything I think Modi might be taking Loki's place as Thor's enemy, remember that Loki was talking to his nephew when he was sent to Hel, so I would imagine little modi might have a chip on his shoulder. I believe fury will be out for the spider-men mini that is coming out but we will see, and I can see the third person being Sue or otherwise my money is on Mr. Grimm making a appearance.

It was confirmed in Humphries last interview that he'll be bringing Cap, Thor and Ironman together again as the 'Big 3', along with Hawkeye and Blackwidow. It's an attempt to attract fans of The Avengers movie who don't usually read comics.

I hope he adds at least Spider-Woman to the cast. He did mentions her in earlier interviews.

Thats sounds promising. The UU is more similar to the movie universe than 616, so that would make sense really.

I like the idea of Modi taking Loki's place as well. Could see that happening. Thor having to fight his brother was difficult enough, battling his son will take the emotional conflict thing to a whole new level.

Actually, Cap, Thor and Iron Man are really big in the 616 universe as well. Bigger in fact!
