Yea ,I think Im done with the Avengers side Tie Ins, since my ass hurts after every purchase. The X side of things have been very good (better then the actual event book in my opinion). But this is just shit . I think Id just assume all this stupid convaluted clone crap doesnt exist. What else can Marvel steal from the X-Men to give to their older favorite child? Disgusted.

Fongi is an Iron Fist, it says so in the story. Fongi will also wield the Phoenix according to prophecy. No, Fongi is NOT Jean Grey. Jean Grey is not a part of this story. It may so happen that there is a mold the Phoenix is attracted to that's similar to Jean, but no, Fongi is not Jean Grey. Neither is Hope.

The way I see it is that if Fongji could control the Phoenix by being the Iron Fist, why can't Danny Rand? I didn't see anywhere in the story that indicated the Phoenix was going after her as a host specifically, so I'm not sure why Danny couldn't just step up to the plate in this situation as the Iron Fist like Fongji did.

huh? it's pretty clear in the story. the phoenix was already starting to manifest in fongji before she became the iron fist. she would have become a phoenix anyway, but it seems becoming the iron fist is secondary to it.

I think they are implying with this that it works the other way around. There are people wo are born already under the Phoenix influence, and the signs are redheadness and green eyes. That must be why people says redheads lack a soul, lol.

If this works, I can see a mini about the Phoenix of the year 1000.

Also, a doubt, was Leonardo da Vinci featured in that SHIELD or Secret Warriors mini?

Yeah, he's a main character in the SHIELD mini. I can't tell you much else about it, though I did read it. It was wordy and bored me to death.

I asked because I did not now Marvel Leonardo was this advanced. Real life Leonardo would have been frolicking around with the hot monks instead of using them to build super-telescopes.
