Oh come on, why is Captain America a racist? The last time he called anyone : "An unholy Jap" was seventy years ago in a much less racially sensitive era of comics publishing. Compared to the stuff he used to be written as saying in the actual 1940's, Cap is super-liberal when it comes to the mutant thing.

America is a nation built on tolerance. Respect is only reserved for things that people can understand or appreciate. Johnny Flat-scan doesn't understand how mutants work, and with all the super-powered brawls and property damage, he sure as shiitake doesn't appreciate them. Tolerance sounds like a pretty sweet goal to shoot for, in my opinion.

Cap has sentinels. He just won't bring them out yet. They're red, white and blue no doubt.
Didn't the X-Men have an actual sentinel on their team for awhile? A girl?
My Heroes For Hire: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, The Falcon, Ant-Man (Scott Lang). White Tiger IV and Powerman would be interns.
Oh, like Norman Osborn never painted his Iron Man armor Red, white, and blue. Stupid government programs always try to co-opt noble ideas to excuse horrible actions. I could totally see Bolivar telling his people to call his mutant grinder death-o-matic baby blender a 'sentinel' in order to sell people on the idea of mutant grinder death-o-matic baby blenders.

Did you miss the part where I wrote: "context" with an exclamation point at the end? As in implying he was using the nickname out of context when he facetiously wrote: "lol all that in defense of a man whose title evokes the name of machines used in the mutant genocide. mmmhmm" I don't recall an army of giant mutant killing robots being called Caps, shield-slingers, or Star-spangled avengers, so honestly, I think I'm good.
And when was the last time anyone used the MRA as a plot-point?He didn't seem to mind that thew SHRA was repealed but the MRA stood. He did not bother to make a comment much less march.
