Wolverine and the X Men issue 10 review: Medium weight spoilers

i liked it. kitty didn't have quite the reaction about what was happening as i'd hoped, but i did love rachel, iceman, and all backing up cyclops on this. i thought all their reasons for joining the fight were true to each character. not sure what friends chamber still has on utopia, but whatever.

the only thing that was missing was some sort of interaction between illyana and kitty. but, i'll take it. emma punching wolverine in the head was my favorite part of the issue.

Cameo wise - Anole gets a line. A student has a hair slide (Trance?) CHAMBER gets several lines. Quire hits on Magik. Husk is also present.

Please tell me Genesis and Chamber interact? Didn't really sound like it, but hoping, lol.

They really can't/shouldn't go the length of the series without remarking upon Apocalypse, Jr. (Chamber) and Kid Apocalypse (Genesis).

Sadly no. I thought it was going there given that Evan has a scene with Paige and she sees him looking up Appcalypse in the database, but it didn't. Then again, maybe after AvX.

Sounds decent, but I'm much more interested in a "chat" between Wolverine and Cable than I am in the first post-Schism conversation between Logan and Scott. I love Bachalo's art when he's on his game, though, and from the preview it looks like he is. So I'm looking forward to this issue.

yes. he may write her well, but that's one trade i'm glad never happened.

Aw man, if they don't have the fact that someone at that VERY SAME school used to have the whole "Apocalypse blood" thing going for him in the database... that's got to be a very sucky, outdated database.

I liked it.

Bobby and Rachel made this issue for me. They had the best lines by far.

They gave good reasons for joining. Help Hope. I think Jean would have done the same if she were there.
I'm also happy to see Rachel side with her dad. Finally, none of them will be permanent Blue Members.
Once this is over, they'll return to the school.

Gambit's Reason made me lol. Looking forward to his fight.

I like Genesis's Character very much and hope he doesn't turn to the dark side

Ah, another excellent issue. The sheer hypocrisy of Wolverine's little stance is even being pointed out in his own title, I love it.

Oh don't worry Idie, I'm sure Logan will save Hope. Of course, if by "save" you mean gut like a fish.

The follow-up in X-Men Legacy added another nice touch to the whole proceedings. I hope someday soon the school throws Logan out on his ass.

The Cyclops/Wolverine convo went on a bit. Enjoyed the issue as a whole. Loved Gambits line.
