you asked how he is risking the world i did answer that
read it again
"he and the x-men are risking the world as they (as Evrey one is constantly screaming) are the experts on the Pheniox but they arent trying to do anything to stop its progress, they are risking the world on the absurd idea that hope M I G H T be able to control it and rebirth there species. and in scotts own words from the 1st issue the firebird would give him the power to make the world right again Who the hell gave him the right to say if the world is right or not!"
Oh. Well then, in that case, that's perfectly reasonable. Actually, all the mutants are kind of ticking timebombs in that respect. ANY of them could possibly blow up a bus. They need to be registered or something, heavily monitored, to make sure the government knows what they're doing at all times for maximum security. Maybe even put into like, these isolated camps for the safety of the rest of the world. Actually, that wouldn't really stop their potential, would it? I mean, they could turn villain any moment now, so really, the only safe way to go about it would be to kill them all off now, before they have the chance to kill millions, maybe even billions with their uncontrollable, erratic power.
Oh wait...
You're missing the point, buddy. The X-Men are the experts and in their expert opinion there's nothing they can do to stop the Phoenix from going wherever it pleases.
The one dude who might have a shot (Thor) is already up there doing exactly that.
So now the only thing left to do is train the presumptive host for if/when Thor fails and Phoenix shows up to claim its host.
Also, so far Cap has managed to lose track of Hope, make an enemy out of the people who Hope associated with and toss his own 'Phoenix expert' out of a plane. It's safe to say at this point that Cap's plan is blown and it's time to try something else.
this is differnt, in normal peace time i would not agree with such, but this is war time and thease people have a personal stake in this, that will if given the chance harm innocents cus they beleive they are in the right. (have you read the last ultimate x-men, theres a good example of mutants that have a choice to do the right thing and dont)
If I were one of those students and the Avengers showed up on my doorstep just in case I opted to think for myself, you can be sure as hell I'd slap on my best lipgloss, most fashionable fashion scarf and tightest pants, hit the lawn and join Frenzy. Also, I'd get Doop to film the whole thing. I wouldn't ask for it - I'd demand it.
