I think the inferiority complex is the natural route if Stark and Banner are going to be present. Pym could create Ultron as an attempt to impress the big brains which eventually goes haywire. Then he could turn to the Ant-Man suit (perhaps Fury told him was a joke and to stop working on it) and use that to save the rest of the team and redeem himself.

Those are all actually good idea's.

This is a good idea. I like it.

I said in another thread that perhaps the Avengers relocate to Stark Tower, now Avengers Tower. With Banner working there, and the Pyms. You could like you say have Hank with a bit of an inferiority complex over Stark and Banner.

I haven't gone to see the movie yet but how does Scar Jo equate herself ?
her appearance in Iron Man 2 was a glorified cameo with hardly and speaking roles not mention a horrid wig.

As not a fan of hers in IM2, I gotta say she's kinda badass in Avengers. She's improved her fight scenes, she has a background and reasonably complex characterization, and she really sells the "world's best spy" thing in at least some scenes. Highly approve.

Just can't see how the roster from the first film could stand a chance against Thanos. So would probably have to introduce Black Panther to maybe help provide them with vibranium weapons, Captain Marvel or Ms Marvel for a cosmic based hero of some sort and I'd also throw in Hank Pym. Don't want to throw in too many characters and run the risk of the movie becoming over crowded.

For anyone who says Thanos won't show, I have to disagree. Why tease a character that won't show until movie 3 or 4? The Marvel Studios movie have always paid off a after credits scene in the following movie. Iron Man 1 (Nick Fury), Nick Fury shows up more in Iron Man 2, Iron Man 2 (Thor hammer) leads into Thor, Thor cosmic cube, Cosmic cube was featured heavily in Capt America as the source of Red Skull's power and the Captain America after credits scene teased the Avengers movie. So if they follow this formula Thanos is either going to appear in Iron Man 3, Thor 2 or most likely Avengers 2 after being built up throughout the other sequels.

Not really sure how powerful Thanos is, but he wouldn't stand a chance against Thor AND Hulk Plus you have Captain America's Shield that could be used as a weapon!!!!
