Nobody likes Kyle. I can't believe more than one person actually said they did.

I do like Kyle. He doesn't take shit from the riff-raff (aka, The New Mutants) on Utopia.

That X-Position was about as interesting as her run thus far. Hopefully, things pick up.

As I read this, I thought the idea of one of Aurora's fractured personalities taking over Northstar's body to be very interesting. I feel she would be able to accomplish many feats of insanity while under that guise, perhaps for a renewed Sisterhood.

What did iceman turn to in that page? I think this was the shortest interview ever.

Wouldn't it be the transcriber who spelt it wrong as I would think it is a spoken interview and that Liu doesn't write her answers.

Yeah. And a couple issues ago she didn't even get Northstar's first name right.

Of course, these are things that editors should catch, but it just goes to show how forced all of this is. It's painful to watch certain writers when they have to pretend that they really like and care about what characters/storyline Marvel has saddled them with.

The whole thing is a gimmick. It wouldn't be bad at all if they had actually led up to this in any reasonable way, other than fast-tracking it for a gimmick. All so Marvel can get press. Don't hurt your backs patting them so hard, guys. Two issues ago you couldn't even get Northstar's name right. And Fraction didn't even bother to give Kyle a personality. But you are really, really committed to portraying such deep and realistic representations of all sorts of people. Yeah.

Liu is a good writer and I've enjoyed almost everything she's written. Too bad they couldn't've let her write the book for a year or two and allow her to naturally develop and grow all of these characters. When that happens, you get natural, believable progressions and flows. Character arcs. Real growth.

I like Marjorie Liu… I haven’t liked most of her Marvel work, but she’s got chops. That said, I’m not a fan of the book currently. Too heavy on clunky dialogue, the characters seem exaggerated in weird ways and the action is… “meh”. I pulled the book from my pull list, but I’m keeping an eye on it, as you can see.

I was stunned when she said, “It's always hard to predict how long anyone will stay on a book -- which means that I'll write "Astonishing" for as long as I'm needed.” I perked up. I feel bad that I did, but I perked up. I love her line-up… it is one of the most diverse I’ve seen ever and I’m happy about that. She hand picked a unique and risky team... she a brave lady to do so. But because that is the case, it needs to be tighter… I’m praying for Greg Pak to come back, but between his new X-book and a recent film grant he received… I think this might be out of the question.

I hope Marvel gives Marjorie a new book. I’d be happy if they gave her a new She-Hulk book. I think she’d do much better with one character with a great back story. I’m not saying this as a pawn off, She-Hulk is one of my faves. I just think Marjorie would be better on that book, not an ensemble adult team book. Hell, I think she’d do an amazing job with Runaways if they brought them back… she does "teen" well. Ah well, I’m glad she’s still writing, but I worry about this book.

I would have love to see Liu do the team-up/mentoring of X-23 and Black Widow, that look like Marvel missed the boat on that one.

There seemed to be a lot of shitty questions in this interview. 2 or 3 questions on X-23 who she isn't writing anymore and 2 or 3 questions about Kyle who is not a mutant. I mean fuck if I wanted to read about humans I wouldn't be reading X-men.
