lol no. Ultimate Origins is canon. Also it it doesn't matter if you don't like the character or not, a main character is still a main character.

Nick Fury no contest. Think of 3 Ultimate Universe stories off the back of your head right now(No cheating the first 3) and tell me none of them didn't include Fury.

Nice to see Pryde as a nominee, I really think at times shes made even better than her 616 counterpart.

I have to say Captain America too. Almost every super hero has ties to him or the super soldier program. He's been trying to deal with living in the modern world and solve most of its problems with his tactical and fighting skills.

Mutant side of the UU, Wolverine.

Human side of the UU, Cap.

Fury is the bridge b/t the two.

If we are talking from a out of universe perspective you could make an argument for Peter.
    1) Find a bad guy
    2) Be Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine is coming back, sort of!

Nick Fury because he hes got his fingers in all the pies. Alternatively, Peter Parker because he was the heart of the Ultimate Universe and represented the best it could be.

This pretty much sums it up right there. Almost every super being in this universe is in someway connected to Cap. Whether it be mutants, Spider-man, Green Goblin, Hulk, and the EDI. This universe is all about the Super Soldier serum and Captain America.

How would you know if you haven't read Mark Millar's Ultimates yet?

I've read Ultimates, Ultimates 2, Ultimatum, New Avengers vs Ultimates, and Death of Spider-Man. Mostly in the two latter Cap was just a GIANT dick. Especially to Peter.

My mistake. I thought you said yesterday that you hadn't started reading any Ultimates yet.

I don't think he was a 'dick' to Peter. He just never accepted him as a super-soldier or a soldier of any kind. You gotta think, Cap fought in WW2 and probably witnessed a lot of kids as young as 16 getting blown apart by ammunition on the battlefield.

Obviously you weren't reading Ultimate Avengers vs New Ultimates, at the time Parker was dying, Fury had his hands full.

    This.

What really separates the Ultimate Universe from the 616 is its common narrative thread. Nearly every superhero on Earth-1610 is a direct result of Steve Rogers becoming Captain America.

Granted, the writers haven't really used him in this fashion. Given his importance to the UU's history, he gets relatively little face time.

It's Peter Parker. Nick Fury is the bridge within the UU to connect all series

It was about Pete, he's dead now, but the scale of the stories of "what the hell is going on?!" were basically presented through Peter's eyes.
