A creator recently addressed the fact that there is plenty that viewers can do about this. Go to abuckforjack.com and donate some money every time you go see Avengers. Proceeds go to the Jack Kirby Museum.

I've heard this rumor and it does sound kind of neat. That said, I doubt it. I can't go into my reasons without spoilers and since I don't recall how to do tags, I'll have to leave it be.

I don't see much negativity in his tone. It IS a shame that Jack Kirby got screwed. That said, I'm still going to see this movie eighteen times in theaters and buy like forty-two copies on Blu Ray.

I suppose I could do that. Which Avenger did they create again?
Stay away from the chimps. You can't reason with them and you'll just end up with monkey shit all over your clothes.

We have at least 20 in our city (and the size of my city is nothing to brag about), so they're easy to get he.

And yes, me and 2 of my Avengers seeing co-workers had them today for lunch, prompted by the movie. And they were delicious.

Ok, I'm back. Shawarma? Goooood stuff! I got a chicken one and it's a little big for me, but delicious. Now I want to try more food from this cafe. Look what you started Joss Whedon and Tony Stark!!!!!!

Bottom line: recommended. The meat is very flavorful and the hot/cold mix between it, the veggies and the neutral pita ... mmm, mmm good.

Unless that was all misdirection to keep things secret. Wouldn't be the first time we've seen that in Hollywood.

Hardly! TPTB wouldn't let Kirby spend one cent on this or any Marvel movie. He'd have had a cameo (if he accepted) and would've had VIP seats for the premiere.
