Figuring out the new Multiverse

Sorry, but this is a pet peeve of mine. There is no "Earth Prime" anymore. And there is no Earth Zero or "Earth 0" either.

Here's the Earths and their respective names that I'm aware of (so far):

Prime Earth
This the Earth which we know as the main DC Universe or DCnU, if you prefer.

Earth 1
The home of continuity for DC's line of graphic novels by the same name.

Earth 2
The home of the Justice Society.

Earth 23
The home of Calvin Ellis, AKA President Superman.

Well, that's all the ones I'm aware of. If anyone can add to the list, feel free.

But it was just really bugging me with people calling it "Earth Zero" or "Earth Prime." Because it's not called that--it's called Prime Earth. (Yes, I'm a grammar Nazi; so sue me )

Also does anyone know if Beyond-verse is going to be given a spot in the multiverse? For that matter the Arkham Asylum games and YJ too? I know YJ is supposed to be on Earth-16, but post Flashpoint has that changed?

Just being nitpicky but times like this makes me wish Earth One didn't exist (or I should say, had a different name). Any time I want to refer to the main DC continuity I start to think "Earth 1" before I have to correct myself. I bet DC didn't have this in mind when they came up with that name for their OGN line.

One came before the other.

And don't forget, fanboy geeks decideed to make "Earth-1" and "Earth One" two separate Earths!

(Back in the Silver Age, the two terms were interchangable for the same, exact Earth in DC comic book stories.)

Earth 1: Where JMS wrote Superman...and Geoff Johns tries to recapture that lightning with Batman...
Earth 2: Where the Trinity died and the classical JSA have been retired to for the time being.
Earth Johns (or 6859725 to the left): Where the current Justice League takes place...far removed from anything happening in Earth 0 books.

Flashpoint is quite correct. Earth-0 and/or New Earth are no longer in play. I made this same mistake last week, thought I was correcting a poster who was calling main continuity Earth Prime by saying it should be Earth-0, but sure enough a little research shows that name is indeed gone. The inverse is just to differentiate it from Superboy-Prime's world, which is gone too. Its Prime Earth now, and damn you all for making me think of a steakhouse now everytime I say it.

Must we count the New Gods universe as a paralel universe, as another earth, now too? Has been hinted the "gods" world to be a universe enterely different, and you could suppose that Darkseid attacking different worlds at the same time could be a clue in that sense.
