Agreed, on all accounts.
I would be surprised actually if Erik lived at all to be honest, unless it was literally just a graze.

I'm watching it again tomorrow this will be my third time.

I was supposed to go see it today for the fourth time but my friend did not show up.. he was not at work yesterday either.. Hmm..
But I shall see it again this weekend probably, if not twice by then. :D

Eh this past week was finals week and there wasn't time. Still got my tix for an IMAX 3d so I may not have quantity on my side but hoepfully the quality will balance it out

Seriously though, all joking aside, it is well worth the wait.. and it not only lives up to the hype but completely surpasses it.

Magneto has no other potential speedfeats except stopping a bullet fired from a gun he already controls inside a magnetic field, and stopping bullets fired when he's prepared. I use the word 'potential', because as speedfeats they stink - the fact that he already has a magnetic field up is a far, far more likely explanation.

We don't award bullet-time status on 'maybes' and 'coulds', and certainly not on speedfeats that really aren't speedfeats due to them potentially having a simpler explanation (like a magnetic field already in place). Or any other speed status. Otherwise Lady Shiva would be a bullet-timer based on 'she could be keeping up with Cass based on pure speed', as an example (one that cuts out one of my own favourite characters).

Barring NEW speed feats being brought up with regard to Magneto - feats of actual reflex speed - that part of the discussion is over. Based on what has been brought up here, Movie-Magneto is not a bullet-timer, nor does he display greater than normal reflexes.

End of story. Now move along.

I loved it.

My little trick with movies is to try to have my expectations as low as possible so that I don't get disappointed.

That way there is nowhere to go but up!
