Don't pay cover price for comics, I don't. Use DCBservice.com

As far as I can tell, it will still exist. It was made by Comixology, so why wouldn't it?

Were they offering digital content through some other platform that I don't know about? (Besides their Marvel app, of course.)
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

My guess is that this is just an aggressive move by comixology in case iTunes or Amazon want to start selling single issues themselves. Take out the competition before it even gets a chance.

I think Marvel and DC are missing out by not getting into iTunes directly. I do enjoy the experience of the Marvel, DC and Comixology apps for discovering new comics. However, I would love to have a subscription via Newstand. When a new comic arrives it is downloaded automatically.

Isn't that like saying I want my comic line only to be sold in comic shops?

to me what this does, is eases fears of marvel making its own app and seperating its library from comixology

the marvel app will still be around. its powered by comixology, just has a different sign hanging on the front door so to speak

Does this mean that comics bought and downloaded through the Marvel app will be available on the Comixology app? If so that's cool because I had to redeem a bunch of my digital codes through Marvel but all my DC stuff was on Comixology. Hopefully now everything can be in the same place.

My question is--what does this mean for Marvel's DCU program?
