Default Movie Hawkeye vs. Smallville Green Arrow

Who wins this fight of screen archers?
They are actually making a Green Arrow show soon called "Arrow" so that will be a better comparison when it comes out but for now Smallvilles Green Arrow is all we have.

SGA's best feats include shooting a bullet out of mid air with an arrow I that was going to shoot an ally and shooting 3 different targets infected by Darkseid at one time.
Its worth noting however that whenever Clark is around he had sidekick syndrome where he all the sudden needed Clark to do everything for him, when fighting another archer he needed Clark to save him, I also believe he lost a gun fu fight to lex luthor.

Ollie's accuracy feats in Smallville are likely better (his first feat was ballistically shooting random specific countries on the Daily Planet spinning globe from what seemed to be a mile away), but his arsenal is MUCH worse. He doesn't have nearly the trick arrow selection. In the arena, both are never going to miss at that range, and Ollie isn't getting away from Clint's explosive arrow's area of effect even if he does dodge. Ollie kind of has to hit (and Clint MIGHT be able to dodge).

If GA can shoot a bullet out of the air somehow I can't see Hawkeye dodging.

It's got nothing to do with it - the bullet wasn't dodging. :-)

I don't think that either has MUCH chance of dodging, I just thing that they each might have SOME chance, and Ollie won't survive the miss while Clint is nearly guaranteed to.

I think they both end up shooting each other, Hawkeye dies of a chest wound, GA gets spread all over the arena in a fine mist.

This is probably the most likely outcome.

Yep. GA was shown to have much more skill with his arrows, but it doesn't really matter at this distance.

If Ollie can shoot a bullet out of the air, wouldn't that make him a bullet timer and give him the win via quickdraw?

he is clearly not a bullet timer, clark saves him from bullets and arrows that would have killed him multiple times

Yeah, his bullet feat is pretty clearly SMvFL.

i think its more an accuracy feat, like he knew where the bullet would be and when so he shot at that spot, not that he tracked it in flight and shot at it

The thing is, it would be both. Accurate enough to hit the bullet, and with the reaction time to exactly time it.

That's a lot harder than dodging a bullet - to dodge, you simply have to get out to the way. Hitting it with a freaking arrow requires reactions AT LEAST as high. This is why Daredevil (and others like him) get the props they get on Rumbles - it's not just avoiding getting hit by a bullet (hell, "slowpokes" like Batman and Cap do that, reading aim, keeping moving, etc.). No, it's swinging a thin stick and hitting bullets out of the air, and (sometimes), actually using those bullets as a weapon against the shooter or his friends.

I just mentioned this in another thread - test it out if you want to see what's harder. Have a friend stand 20 feet away from you with a small rock, or something dense enough to throw fast. Have your friend throw that rock at you as hard as they can. Try to dodge. Depending on your reaction time, you might be able to do so, whether by guessing well, by tracking their delivery and getting out of the way, or even by tracking the projectile in the air and edging out of the line of fire. Now try the same thing, but instead of dodging, try to bat the rock back at your friend SWINGING a small stick. You have nearly no chance of making the second thing happen - if you do, it's luck.
