I seen TA twice and I remember a comic book title The West Cost Avengers. Was that any successful? Will a movie be good to promote other Avengers?

I think they'll go with the name New Avengers after a trilogy (or saga) of Avengers movies.
As big a fan as I was of the West Coasters, I really don't think a movie would be a good idea.
If they were going to try a second Avengers movie (something I'm not sure they should do... one is enough IMO), it would probably be more practical to go with New Avengers. West Coast Avengers ended a LONG LONG time ago.
Too much becomes overkill, everyone knows that. If they get to the point where they're doing West Coast Avengers films...I don't know if that would be a good thing or a bad thing.
If Marvel ever gets ahold of the movie rights for Spidey and the X-Men back, I actually think the third thing they might end up doing (after making a Spider-Man and X-Men movie) might be New Avengers.
Teaming up Spider-Man, Wolverine, Cap and Iron Man would probably be the biggest movie project they could ever do.
Plus, Bendis storytelling actually does translate relatively easily into movie screen writing. I think he writers with those sort of sensibilties. I honestly think you could translate the Break Out story arc into a movie with relatively little chances to the story.
And really, because of the nature of the movie Avengers at least anyone could be an Avenger. There're not a sitting team... by their nature they're more single heroes coming together for something big.
That said, I'm not sure Fox or Sony would ever want to give up their movie cash cows, so it probably won't happen. At least not anytime soon.
The Avengers is the end result of a plan and build up that involved several movies; it's very much a "here are the characters that you've gotten to know, coming together" event. As such they only introduced one new major character, despite the massive line-up, as they didn't want to (and couldn't) waste time explaining origins. Even the supporting cast and villain had been developed in previous movies, with the exception of Hill.
So even with a large ensemble cast, you have just two new characters.
This is why it worked so well, and why future Marvel team movies will be culminations of projects that begin with individual films. They're not going to jump in at the deep end and launch a New / WC Avengers movie with a whole or virtually whole new cast as a one & done, so I'd hold off on the expectation. The one project that may be the exception that proves the rule is the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but that's because of all Marvel teams they're all about the team, not individual heroes who come together to meet a greater threat.

PULL: Hawkeye, Star Wars, Daredevil, Batman, Secret Avengers
The film was so successful I can't imagine they won't try a sequel, but it will be with the same set of characters, who have all signed on for 6 films or whatever. I'm not sure a sequel is a great idea either, because it was kind of amazing that it worked the once, but they will probably try.
WCA is not the type of project they will launch. With the MCU Avengers having a very global scale, and an "only in dire need" team-up policy, why would they need a team for just the West Coast? This is just the tip of the iceberg of issues adapting the WCA, which was still a good book and a well-loved era.
Although now I'm thinking about how a Wonder Man movie could be hilarious.
Loved WCA, most often more than even the main title, but no. I agree with Lady Alternate and a couple of other posters, you'd need set up movies, or it'd become too convulted. And can you really see a Wonder Man, a Tigra or even a Hawkeye movie setting the charts on fire?
New Avengers also wouldn't fly with the general movie viewing audience. The concept of multiple teams with the same name still confuses people who occasionally read comics, imagine those who never do. As I have posted in other threads (and I don't think I was the first one to touch upon this subject), if I spoke for Marvel, I'd invest on the Defenders as the next big franchise. I think the potential is all there to be as big as they got the Avengers to be.
