    Default The Flinstones

Anybody picking up Flintstones this week?
I'm really digging the new story arc and how it's affecting the whole Flintstoneverse.

Ditto. My confusion is I thought the Flintstones were a Hanna-Barbara toon, and therefore would fall under the Turner/Warner umbrella. So why is The Flintstones being published at Archie, and not DC?

Because no one at Turner/Warner has a clue what these properties are or how to market them.Hanna Barbera in their hands? When did that fiasco happen? I understand that The Jetsons have been optioned for a live movie with Steve Carrel as George and after the Yogi Bear disaster you know what a piece of crap thats gonna be.

Is this digital only? I have looked on all 3 comic sites I order from and dont see any current Flintsones comics. I see it says issue 106, so are they showing up in another title? Confused but would love to scoop it up!

I am pretty sure this is fake. I can't find anything about an Archie Flintstones comic. Well, not anything recent, and certainly not one that has lasted to 106 issues!

EDIT: Guys, look at his blog, he made that cover himself!

Busted! Still glad so many people were interested. Proves the cover was actually believable, which was my intention.

It was really good. The Flintstones seems like the kind of licence that Archie would hold and one that they'd try to make a strong, continuity driven property and the art looked like something Archie would draw. So yes it WAS very believable!
