Really liked this one, I'm glad that Johns is finally revealing secrets about both Sinestro and the Indigo Tribe.

I feel the same way.

Man, Mahnke's art has been stellar on this volume. Really, really good artwork by him and the inking / coloring team.

Still, the cover was a lie.

I really don't get the cover; the book mostly focused on Sinestro.

Luckily my store had the variant cover which shows Hal and Indigo-Sinestro in fisticuffs and seems much more appropriate.

First the Sinestro Corps, now the Indigo Tribe. I got the feeling that Geoff Johns wants to close his saga with the Third Army and leave only a few corps, if not any, around space. I hope the Guardians get erased too.

That's how i felt about this arc as well as the last one. We get the full story behind the Indigo Corps for spoilers:

for them to be seemingly erased or shut down (just like the Sinestro Corps)

end of spoilers . it just feels like you'd want to have your creation stick around the test of time. I'm also interested in seeing how this development affects the storyline of New Guardians.

80% of the Black Lanterns are most likely alive now.

These are the kinds of stories that I wanted to be told almost directly after Blackest Night, but instead we jumped straight into all the Brightest Day stuff, which just did not work for me. My only concern is that a lot of the other Lantern groups are getting majorly reduced and I don't want that. Hopefully, by the end of this major storyline with the Guardians, there will still be pockets of Lanterns from every corps. You don't have to focus on them if the story doesn't call for it, but they're a great addition to this portion of the DCU and it would be a shame to just remove any of them completely.

Yeah sorta agree the cover was misleading. Only thing I can think why the cover would be this way is because one of the main things that has caused so much trouble for the GL Corps and all the other Corps is because of Black Hand and what happened in Blackest Night, sorta reminding people.

Some ofther Corps are having trouble as well, the Red Lantern Corps is dying off and the Blue Lantern Corps is having a big battle vs the Reach at their planet. They are keeping all the comics interesting thats for sure!

Good issue, I suspected their origin but was nice to see more explained on it and their ultimate endgame. Was quite surprised at the ending... is this the end of the Tribe? I doubt all of them would want to return to their life as being members of the Tribe...
