People Wolverine has harmed with his claws vs People Superman/Batman have killed...

Two groups.

You know how the cartoon/etc always have Wolverine not use his claws for evisceration? Well, Group A consists of people who Wolverine HAS gotten the chance to damage with his claws, and ONLY those he has actually harmed/scarred.

Group B, however, are the resurrected souls of people who Superman or Batman have killed. However, these only those who the two crusaders have killed out of ANGER or VENGEANCE, not someone who was just caught in the crossfire or died of their own accord/fault.

Bonus: Which group do you think is larger?

Batman has killed a bunch of Gotham Thugs in the 40's, some of Jack Nicholson Joker's goons, and a rather trippy, half-explained version of Darkseid.

Wolverine has hurt Thanos hasn't he? I don't even know if the the scene in Infinitely Gauntlet counts, where Wolverine goes both claws into Thanos' chest.

For some reason, the recent Annhilators Mini had Wolverine plunge his claws directly into Gladiator's chest. Gladiator screamed but suffered no permanent damage (of course) but I think that makes him part of the Wolvie group. I'd think there are multiple hulks in there as well... they healed from it, but Wolvie has plunged his claws through the eye-sockets of both the Red and Green Hulkd. Namor has also been stabbed by Wolvie's claws, only to heal when plunged into the X-Men's pool in the mini that eventually had him blow-up Atlantis...

So, as ridiculous as it sounds, Wolvie's list includes: 1) Kallark 2) Namor 3) Green Hulk (in many incarnations) 4) Red Hulk.

Anyone know if Sentry is among this group? Or is Gladiator going to have to fight the Kryptonians at light speed all on his lonesome?

There's probably going to be lots of people we have to DQ. There is no way Wolverine should be hurting Gladiator or Thanos or Sentry. He's probably slashed at Silver Surfer as well.

Superman and Batman's group only counts people they killed in anger. Doomsday, at least, was killed in what I perceive to be Superman's determination to protect mankind, his loved ones, etc from the monster that single-handedly beat most of the then-Justice League. And did Superman kill the Kandor-Kryptonians out of anger? Or Mxytplik?

As for Wolverine, if he cut them up and they didn't have a scar or some pain, then they're DQ'd. People like Hulk are fine if he actually cut/stabbed them, we know that Hulk felt it, his healing factor just removed the scar/stopped the bleeding. If it was a robot with armor that couldn't be cut through at the time, it's disqualified.

Superman: a few in his first year or two that were more "not caring if they die" than "Grrr, I must kill you!", 3 later retconned pocket universe Kryptonian villains, Doomsday (for like a couple weeks comic time, then he got better) and maybe Darkseid (though maybe he just dispersed him, or sung him to sleep, or...y'know: Morrison story).

Hmmm. Going by the spirit of the OP and counting people that Sups/Bats have CHOSEN to kill (and I don't think this is limiting versions of the characters), I'm guessing this includes dickery moves, like Lesters Original Superman 2 Superman killing Zod for no reason whatsoever at the end? I'm thinking it should also include "on purpose determination" moves like Batman killing Post-Crisis Darkseid.
