This was great. I hope it sales well, so Marvel will do something with him in the future.

I hope this is better than the other two Ennis Fury (the first MAX and Peacemaker) minis.

It's started of strong this series, it's Ennis's history of his MAX universe , that includes The Punisher, (max of course) and others like Barracuda and seen from Fury's point of view, it's Ennis expanding on his MAX universe he first set up with the Punisher,

Well worth getting even if your not just an Ennis or Fury or even a Punisher fan cause it is set in the MAX universe which is meant to be real world, so we get to see the last fifty odd years of world politics and wars etc as Fury would have delt with it...

I didn't realize how damn old Fury is. He must have been in his 80s in Punisher MAX.

The solicits for July's #4 (which looks AWESOME) doesn't have an "of 6". Hopefully they'll give it a chance to run its natural course. Seems like they may, as it's being advertised as a jumping-on point.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

I really think this is only a six issue limited series I don't ever remember hearing or reading before it is a thirteen issue series.....

Must be a misprint , don't get me wrong would love thirteen issues but I don't think it is....

I didn't even know about this until I saw it on the shelf of my LCS by chance. I saw the words "Fury" "Max" and "Garth Ennis" and immediately bought it.

Glad I did, this was a fun read. Very much looking forward to the rest of it.

Or alternatively it could be two six issue miniseries and a one shot epilogue.

I think its pretty unlikely the thirteenth issue is a missprint.

He fought in WWII, so yeah, he's got to be 92 or older by now.

It's a real shame that Marvel can't even make it clear on their website whether it's a mini-series, and ongoing, or what, much less give it a little press.

Yay to the news of it being an ongoing. This is a great book. Marvel needs to spit out a couple more books like these - a perfect mix for mature readers. It relishes in history, politics, war, a classic Marvel character. Its simply great.
