Usually, people do a review with spoilers thread so folks can talk about it. I was getting ready to do one, but since you've claim staked it, go for it.

I haven't read it, I was wondering if it's any good? Im wanting something new with Fury, my only concern is this is suppose to be a mini and a sequel?

We've got a questions thread here, and a Nick Fury Appreciation thread, so you can always ask either place, instead of starting a thread, which will end up being a Review / Spoiler thread. Ask a mod to change the Thread Title to include SPOILERS.

As for your question, yes, I enjoyed it. It's a period MAX mini-series, so it may not be to everyone's taste, but it appears to be a stand alone mini-series. But if you like Classic Nick Fury, you better pick up on this one. I doubt we'll get another.

That's a great interview. Though ... I'm wondering what he meant by an epilogue in #13. It's a six issue mini-series. Hope that's a typo, cause I would hate to think they made him cut it down.

I'm not as fond as he is of Goran Parlov's art, but he's gritty enough. The Dave Johnson covers, OTOH, are perfect!

i couldn't find it this weekend. it either sold out or they underordered. i did find some old Sgt.Fury/Howling Commandoes issues and the finale to Secret Warriors (there were some holes in my collection) and really enjoyed that. i'm still a little unclear on Reb Ralston's new role. it was fun seeing Fury being ordered around by Sam Sawyer.

Bummer. It was a good, rated R read. Not a lot of action, but plenty of attitude.

When we get a mod to edit the Thread Title with the addition of SPOILERS / Review, I'll try to post one. If anyone else wants to before then, though, feel free.

It's a six issue miniseries. And yes, you can pick it up without needing to know anything other than Nick Fury fought in WWII and the Korean War.

Agreed. It was a nice set up and Parlov's art is on point.

Is this still a miniseries? In the solicitations it doesn't have the "1 of 6" tag like other minis.

Nevermind, I checked that interview and its a 13 issue maxiseries.

Actually, the solicitation says it's a six issue mini-series. Though the interview did say something about #13. Confusion.
